Long hair on guys: stupid or cool?

I used to have long hair a few years ago, but it looked kinda stupid, so i shaved it off. I went from long hair to completly hairless in a few minutes. Today I no longere have a shaved head, but my hair is still really short. I don't think I'll ever go back to wearing it long, it just didn't suit me. The only times I wish I'd left it long is when I'm at metal concerts, you just cant headbang with short hair, it's not the same.

Oh, and wasn't there some old Greek king that made a law that forced all men to grow long hair since it made handsome men look more beautiful and made ugly men look more dangerous? I'm almost sure I read that somewhere.
