Long term multiplayer games via direct ip

Recruiting:

Players wanted for long term games that continue from one day to the next playing alongside a small group of players for fun and competition you will need to use MSN messenger to communicate (easy and free to download and install).

Multiplayer games via gamespy always fail as people quit and never continue and that is why we need to use MSN to have contact with each other and also to arranges times to play or continue.

Thanks for a great game last night all of you that played a good 5 hour session that left me itching to continue.

It confirms to me that this is the only way to play multiplayer games (gamespy sucks) ladder is ok if you want just a 2-4 hour rushed game on a tiny map but for a proper Civ game you have to continue over a number of sessions! And this is the only way I know of to get that!

Anyone else who is looking for a better multiplayer gaming experience just add me in MSN messenger.
