Edit: Players no longer welcome, considering I've already found an opponent.

Hello everyone,

I want to play a multiplayer game, preferably simultaneous moves w/ mass regicide, unless anyone has a strong objection. I live in Mobile (southern Alabama, in southern U.S.) with a DSL connection.

The time situation: Until August 11 I can play anywhere from 15:00 GMT to 4:00 GMT (which is 9 AM - 10:00 PM US Central time), although of course I can't play all that time; other people need the computer, I have other things to do, etc. I could probably play about 2-3 hours a day. Starting August 11 I wouldn't be able to play until 21:00 GMT (3:00 PM c), and I probably wouldn't be able to play more than an hour a day, some days not at all. Except for weekends, where I'll probably always be able to play an hour or so a day. Don't expect this game to be over very quickly. :)

No one has to commit to a schedule or anything; we'll only play when everyone can. Once the game starts, make your own little post which you constantly update to say when you can play, and when I notice everyone is available I'll begin/resume the game. Thus, it might be best if there's only 3 people (including me). I'll settle for 2 if I don't get a lot of participation. Sound good?

Here are my suggested settings:

My civ: Ottomans or Carthage (whichever one no one wants, if neither are taken I'll flip a coin and decide)

Map size: Standard or small

Map settings: Pangaea, 70% ocean, don't know about temp. and stuff

AI civs: 2? Maybe 3?

Difficulty level: Regent

Game settings: Simultaneous, mass regicide, slow turn limit, accelerated production, all victory conditions except for diplomacy enabled, barbarians: roaming

-Warpstorm's graphics scenario

-Anything else I've forgotten?

Remember, these are just suggestions; please say something if you object. :) So, I hope this works...

:goodjob: Oh yeah, I forgot. Yes, accelerated production. :)

@Praetorian: :goodjob: Great! Any suggestions for the game settings, or do they seem fine?

I've decided to create a sorta duplicate multiplayer thread at CGN (link here), due to this forum not being as active. :) Anyone who's interested in this game can go check out that link. I guess this thread is kinda pointless now, though, so maybe it could be closed/deleted?...

Never mind this thread for now; I don't want to play, considering I've all ready found an opponent (from another thread).
