Hey,
I got a little problem here, I lost my first cd of civ3 Gold Edition, I still got the second one, the handbook, and everything else that came with the game!
Is there a way to start the game with the second cd? It always tells me to give it the other cd. Or are there nocdcracks or just anything else that I could simply start the game with?
thx, Dennis

Wecome to CFC [party]

This site has a strict anti-piracy policy, so you will get no assistence on cracks here.

I know of no way to start the game without the CD.

Welcome to CFC.

I'm afraid we can't find your CD or send you files (even if we'd have them). As Moth correctly says; CFC holds a strict anti-piracy policy and it seems, although your intentions are ok, you'll be affected by that too.

It might be best to contact Firaxis directly. Here is the "contact us" link on their website. If they aren't the ones to talk to, they'll probably can direct you to the people to talk to.

I fear, however, that the only thing you can do is count your losses and buy a new set. "loss" of a CD doesn't sound to me like a valid reason for a free CD... :(

Good luck !

Hey,
I am sry guys, did see that as piracy, of course that are not my intensions! I can proof that i own the complete set i got it lying in front of me! Did I get you right though that there is no way to start the game with the second cd?
thx for the tip, i will contact fireaxis immediately!

That way I end up on the civ3 support site, the contact that are written down there are not reachable, you get no response writting a mail, and the phonenumber doesn't exist, I tried that before!

Have you checked your manual for any means to contact them? Could be directions there.

I checked my C3C manual now and there are guidelines for reaching Technical Support there (should be true for Gold Version too). I'm sure you got that in your own manual.
