Lost cursor

I have lost the cursor pointer on all my Civ games,(3,4,5,Colonization + all expansions. All other games are fine. On 5 it gets to the screen where it says click to continue but without a pointer I`m stuffed. Tried reinstalling, obviously. Any help/suggestions appreciated.

In the computer control panel, under "Mouse", have you checked if there's anything what you could change, e.g. deactivating the mouse trace?

Yeah,tried all settings. No difference. Tried another mouse, too.
