Sorry for taking a while to reply vyeh . It's been a study break--and I've been trying to study with little success. Sometimes it's me, sometimes it's other people, but either way my week kinda evaporated. I think that I need to get more devotion and discipline happening to get myself into gear. I'll be right, God's in control.

But anyway, let's move onto what you have suggested:

I'm hoping to find a way to make things more interesting without destroying the mystery of LE.

Sample:

You are a Christian Who goes to Church every Sunday and likes videogames. [More description about mundane life].

One evening after a quiet game of [what was that card tournament?], you wake up to discover your house, bed and clothes are all gone. [Some description of the scene.]

Thus begins your adventure in Lost Eden.

The announcement is done, so it should be a few minutes. Then respond to any comments that come into the comment thread.

I've already done that 5 days ago! I assume that Petek hasn't got to the message yet. I might do the video tonight/tomorrow. It shouldn't take long as it'll just be an audio recording.

I think the most important point to make is that almost a year of work went into a total conversion of Alien Crossfire.

No, it is not a minor accomplishment. I think it is appropriate to recognize the effort that went into the mod.

I updated the stickied thread to add information about Lost Eden's beta release. I also added an item to the News Updates thread. As I understand it, this announcement should automatically generate a similar item on CFC's Front Page. (Edit: It's already there!)

I'll post the announcement on Apolyton and WePlayCiv. I presume that vyeh will make an announcement on CGN, but let me know if you'd prefer for me to do so.

Also, I've decided that I'll make a new screenshot to update the news one. Lots of people are commenting on the sameyness of the same unit being overused (well they aren't haha but that's how I'm reading it )
