How about something less intense:

What do you drive?

We have two cars, a 2006 Mazda 5 and a 1978 Cehvrolet Caprice Classic sedan.

Yep, it's a silly question, but at least it shouldn't start a big debate... unless someone decides to talk about why they hate SUVs or something. :crazyeye:

I drive a red Ford sedan every Tuesday for 22 and 1/2 minutes. Most of that time is spent gradually decelerating, since apparently accelerating is lethal.

A 1991 Hatchback honda civic. 215000 clics.
Exactly like this one (But I look better then that guy) http://www.austinev.org/evalbum/030b.jpg

Looking to buy the new Honda insight (Hybrid) next year if my budget goes well.

If by any chance the gas price goes down, I'll be looking for an Impreza, and possibly a WRX if I can.

I hate SUV's cuz:
-The driving experince is bad
-Less power then for a same priced car
-Concumes a lot of gaz
-Usually way less room then in a minivan or even a 5 door car

So basically the only reason for buying one (unless you have a cabin 100 miles deep in the wood) is to show off and boost the ego.

Those are nice cars. I had a 94 civic hatch a few years back, lets see if I can rummage up a pic or two.

Yes, I did really paint a cross on my hood. I was a dumb kid once-apon-a-time.

I really wish my wife would give up the "not letting me have a two-seater" thing so I could get an Insight. One of my favorite cars, they are.

Not bloody likely (gas prices going down). LOL

I agree. I cannot think of a single reason I could ever possibly "need" an SUV. Some do, thats cool, but I just can't grasp it.

I think the main reason people buy SUVs is to drive in front of me and block my view of the road.

Yes, my ego actually lets me believe that.

I got my driver's permit a couple months ago so I drive the family Toyota Corolla.

In 10 months I will be driving a Red 1999 Ford Station Wagon with leather interrior, sun roof, and 6 CD changer. :)

Buick 1994 Century

I drive people insane.

When I'm not doing that, I'm one of those weird people that ride buses and trains in the subway. Couldn't even afford the insurance for a car if I had the money for a cheap one. Though if I were able to get one/or wanted to if I was able, then I'd need something at least decently sized. Maybe a Crown Vic...the cabbies here sure get plenty of use out of those.

2004 Chevrolet Monte Carlo LS

I'm putting off buying a car for as long as I can, possibly forever. I hope to live in either a city or a rural village, both of which habitats render a car unnecessary.

my poor old volvo finally died, so I got a 2001 Saturn.
