LSOE 1-Hatshepsut

I'm working fast today. There might be one more round today, then that's most likely it. Anywho, we gain 3 vassals, 2 of them, you wouldn't expect.

I begin the round by accepting Mehmed and having him kiss the serpent on the hat.
Spoiler :
Civ4ScreenShot0014-5.jpg

I gift him a load of techs to have him up to speed. Being at war with Russia does that to ya, as well as losing your capital.
Spoiler :
Civ4ScreenShot0015-5.jpg

We bribe Julius Caesar into a war against Pericles. Why? Well, diplo points. It's all about the diplo points.
Spoiler :
Civ4ScreenShot0016-5.jpg

And we begin to start sucking up to the Dutch. Why? Well, if I vassal him, I might choose to shrine his holy city which HALF THE WORLD ADHEARS to. That is A LOT of money. He'd vassal to me, except he's not at a high enough happy level with me.
Spoiler :
Civ4ScreenShot0017-5.jpg
Civ4ScreenShot0018-5.jpg
Civ4ScreenShot0019-4.jpg

With a few minor adjustments(I had already played the round before I read that really helpful post) to my civics, I regret it the next turn when Zara drops off 8 units at Yemen!
Spoiler :
Civ4ScreenShot0021-5.jpg

To make a long story short, I lose Mecca for 2 turns yet I keep Medina. Dumb Zara, you don't split a tiny stack when in hostile territory. Oh, and we trade for scientific method with the Portuguese.
Spoiler :
Civ4ScreenShot0022-4.jpg

And being Big Jew actually helps us, a lot! We vote(and pass) to have everybody DOW on Zara. Hello diplo points.
Spoiler :
Civ4ScreenShot0023-4.jpg
Civ4ScreenShot0024-3.jpg

Oh, and then Julius Caesar shows up proposing this. How can I refuse? The more vassals the better at this point, because that means less war for me to handle.
Spoiler :
Civ4ScreenShot0025-3.jpg

We trade for some Silver, which is really just a filler trade, but we also trade for military tradition with JC. He's actually gaining a tech lead. We also trade for corporation with Boudica.
Spoiler :
Civ4ScreenShot0027-2.jpg
Civ4ScreenShot0028-2.jpg

Isabella makes a demand, which we agree to. I hope to eventually convert her back to Judaism and possibly vassalize her through friendship. We also agree to another one of her demands to stop trading with Russia. He's going to be the next boogeyman in my quest to vassalize Europe through friendship.
Spoiler :
Civ4ScreenShot0029-2.jpg
Civ4ScreenShot0030-2.jpg

Then she asks me to DOW on Sumer, and therefore Boudica. No chance in hell.
Spoiler :
Civ4ScreenShot0031-1.jpg

Conveniently, we also finally knock Saladin out of his last viable city location. It'll take him forever to build a worker at the Philippines, so he's toast. I start a galleon in one of my Persian cities along with a frigate. I want to kill someone dammit!
Spoiler :
Civ4ScreenShot0032-1.jpg

Boudica decides to be so kind as to trade us Steel. Score another point against Zara's chances of beating me at war.
Spoiler :
Civ4ScreenShot0033-1.jpg

With nothing better to do in the AP, we decide to have everybody DOW on Pericles as well for the kicks and giggles.
Spoiler :
Civ4ScreenShot0034.jpg

We also hand the Ottomans more techs to keep them somewhat at tech parity, and, Pericles is officially screwed.
Spoiler :
Civ4ScreenShot0036.jpg

Joao finally decides to be smart and join the family. He vassalizes to me as well. Thinking about it, should I vassalize Zara instead of chasing him to Madagascar?
Spoiler :
Civ4ScreenShot0037.jpg

And to top the round, we take Zara's first city which was filled with 20+ units. Hurrah for a clean sweep through Zaraland!
Spoiler :
Civ4ScreenShot0038.jpg

So now, I'm at a pivotal point. I can take all of Zara's continental cities+ Sri Lanka and then vassalize him to Madagascar and a city in Australia, or I can kill him entirely. Or I can let him off easy, like Giggles, and let him vassalize to whoever he chooses all the way down in Australia.

But then comes the big ??????. Shaka has a crapload of units heading towards Western Sahara, meaning most of his cities are relatively lightly guarded. I'm almost guaranteed to get the Great Spy from Communism, so I can have him infiltrate Shaka and then plan for war from there. Do I kill Shaka entirely? He has a colony in South America, btw. Or do I take the cities I want and then vassalize him? Shaka WILL harass my cities in West Africa, but he can also harass Portuguese cities in North Africa. Do I give the Portuguese rifling+money, then DOW on Shaka and let him have fun trying to take cities with medieval crap? I'm leaning towards vassalization then gifting all the cities I take that I don't want(everything not in West Africa) back to him and having him be my attack dog?

As usual, here's the save. I know the first thing I'll do is switch to Bureau and get a levee up in Thebes+Oxford. Any more advice beyond that would be very welcome.

I'm incredibly motivated today, it seems. It's been my first day in a long time when I have the computer to myself. I don't know how far I'll go today, but, expect a lot of progress throughout the day.

I start the round by taking a second city off of Zara. This one is in a nice position imo.
Spoiler :
Civ4ScreenShot0000-9.jpg

Then Izzy comes begging to be my vassal state. She had gotten herself in a war against Boudica, so I'm fine not accepting her.
Spoiler :
Civ4ScreenShot0001-9.jpg

Shaka then asks for education, to which I agree. Shaka is too backwards to be a threat atm, and I'm building up arms in West Africa. When I hit infantry, Shaka dies or kisses the serpent on Hatshepsut's hat.
Spoiler :
Civ4ScreenShot0002-8.jpg

Within a few turns I generate a great merchant who I send to Amsterdam. Hatshepsut began having second thoughts about it. After all, it is AMSTERDAM. He's going there to make money for her, but the Red Light District is right there. Who's to say he won't blow it all?
Spoiler :
Civ4ScreenShot0003-8.jpg

Shaka then takes Western Sahara away from Pericles, which goes according to plan.
Spoiler :
Civ4ScreenShot0004-8.jpg

And we learn a complicated economic system that will save us much moolah. Hatshepsut, at this point little more than a constitutional monarch, opposes accepting Communism, but regardless, it is accepted. She goes back to her swimming lessons in the Nile while I continue to plot.
Spoiler :
Civ4ScreenShot0005-7.jpg

We also generate a Great Spy, who is sent to Ulundi. He's not going to rape, pillage, and run around naked though, like Hatshepsut wishes she could do. He's going to infiltrate and reveal all Zulu units on the map to us.
Spoiler :
Civ4ScreenShot0006-7.jpg

Charlamagne ends up taking Athens and killing Pericles in the process. It is said that Hatshepsut's private frigate sailed to Athens to rescue Pericles and that he know lives in Hatshepsut's palace, but the facts where never proven. Regardless, look at that stack! I'm not going to war with Charlamagne anytime soon.
Spoiler :
Civ4ScreenShot0007-8.jpg

The great merchant also arrives at Amsterdam, where he spent half the money before returning to Thebes 2 years later.
Spoiler :
Civ4ScreenShot0008-8.jpg

Just because she could, Hatshepsut uses the last authoritive power she has left as pontif to call a crusade against the Filipino Arabs!
Spoiler :
Civ4ScreenShot0009-8.jpg

The great spy arrives in Ulundi, and infiltrates. Apparently, most Zulu cities have longbows and pikes, while I'm running around close to machine guns! Something tells me Shaka is going to feel pain soon. :p
Spoiler :
Civ4ScreenShot0010-8.jpg

Meanwhile, Willem asks to become a vassal. At first, I reject him, but then I get Sury to make peace with him, and THEN accept his vassalage. Isn't diplo manipulation fun?;)
Spoiler :
Civ4ScreenShot0011-7.jpg

Meanwhile, DOWing on Saladin passes, meaning I have a new resolve. To annex the Philippines!
Spoiler :
Civ4ScreenShot0012-7.jpg

Willem also reached Physics first, which we trade for. Knowing where the uranium is can only make conquest faster.
Spoiler :
Civ4ScreenShot0013-6.jpg

Then, feeling uplifted, we bribe Boudica to end her war with the Spanish. Why? To play the same trick we did as with Willem!
Spoiler :
Civ4ScreenShot0014-6.jpg
Civ4ScreenShot0015-6.jpg

We trade with Isabella to learn the secrets of Democracy(which she doesn't even seem to use at all), meaning we can build the Statue of Liberty. However, it receives backburner status as we have more important things to do(Kill Zara).
Spoiler :
Civ4ScreenShot0016-6.jpg

I'm about to take Aksum, and then Lalibela will be Zara's last stronghold on Africa. Then, I can either chase him across Madigascar, Sri Lanka, and Australia, or I can catipulate him(and get Sri Lanka). Moai city? Nothing better to do with that city anyway. Then, once Zara kisses the ring, most likely, Shaka is next.

Below is the save, and at this rate, expect another update within a few hours, or even less. I'm on a roll today.

Attachments

Okay, last update for today, I swear. It's short, but Zara's my biatch now. But truth be told, I'm scared to DOW on Shaka  I'm also going to type after the picture, to see if that works better or not.

Spoiler :
Civ4ScreenShot0000-10.jpg

Boudica comes by and asks me for rifling, which I agree to. The sooner I can safely switch to FR without being threatened(Shaka) is coming closer.

Spoiler :
Civ4ScreenShot0001-10.jpg

Meanwhile, I capture Aksum which is in what looks like Kenya. Zara's going down for sure. :hammer:

Spoiler :
Civ4ScreenShot0003-9.jpg

I also tech to railroad, which means faster supply lines. I should probably have my workers road me a network ASAP, but I'm not in a hurry atm. I need more military to (safely) kill Shaka. I could DOW right now but it would end up incredibly sloppy, and I would probably lose a few cities before I finish him off. But, now I have MGs, which means I can plop 2 down in all of my possible danger cities and watch Shaka bash his own brains out.

Spoiler :
Civ4ScreenShot0004-9.jpg

I capture Lalibela, which is in Mozambique. Zara is officially out of Africa! And now that he's out of my domains, I can capitulate him! I also take Sri Lanka as a prize.

Spoiler :
Civ4ScreenShot0005-8.jpg

Now that Zara is down, it means Shaka's next. Once I take Shaka out, I'm thinking Sury->Stalin and then make a choice on how to win. Diplo is easy for me right now. Domination, I'll need to take down Stalin guaranteed and most likely Montezuma/Pacal. Conquest, I've only ever won once. Meanwhile, Space would be a cakewalk and Culture seems unneeded. Now all I really want is advice. Is vassalizing Shaka the right to do, or should I annihilate him as a meaningful civilization? Saladin will die next round, it's just that building a fleet has taken a bit of time. Then, I think I'll bribe Bismark into another war with Stalin, who's incredibly backwards. I could use advice on how to proceed please.

Meanwhile, Hatshepsut got bored and thought of titles for herself, and she asked me to post it. Here it is:

Hatshepsut, Empress of the Nile, Shabanu of Persia, Queen of Syria, Empress of India, Тираните of North Africa, Mansa of Mali, Sultana of Arabia, Duchess of Iberia, Queen of Occitania, Senatusa of Rome, Countess of the Netherlands, Baroness of Scandinavia, Archduchess of Madagascar, Empress of all Africa, Queen of Baku, Queen or Sri Lanka, Overlord of Samarkand, Vassal to none, Empress of all

Ok, since you've infiltrated Shaka, use those EPs for a purpose
Spam spies and locate them at least 2 in the first 5 cities you want to attack. Then wait 5 turns for the 50% bonus.
Then, spam calvary and smash Shaka's cities using the spies to get rid of cultural defences. Then, if Shaka counter-attacks use your main stack to get rid of it.
For crying out loud, hes using freaking crossbows and muskets. Smash him quickly.

I did better than that. I smashed Shaka AND Stalin this round. :mischief:

Okay, so, the first thing I do is merge a GG into one of my indian cities. They're geared for production and Sury is RIGHT THERE. We can all gues what that means.
Spoiler :
Civ4ScreenShot0001-11.jpg

My Portuguese vassals discover Biology, so I trade them railroads for it. Man is it good to have vassals when you can tell them what to tech!
Spoiler :
Civ4ScreenShot0002-10.jpg

Pacal comes by asking me to stop trading with the HRE, to which I decline. Friends are friends, and a vassal of Montezuma is no friend of mine. Oh, and my good vassal/friend Willem trades me electricity for Assembly Line. I'm loving vassals atm.
Spoiler :
Civ4ScreenShot0004-10.jpg

Boudica asks me to stop trading with the Aztecs, to which I agree to. Then Sury comes and asks me for replaceable parts, to which I tell him to jump in the Yellow River. Sury really is starting to dislike me.
Spoiler :
Civ4ScreenShot0006-8.jpg

We make some civics adjustmets. Apparently, I forgot to switch to State Property. Ah well. Now I'm running US+FS+Emancipation+State Property+OR. I'll probably switch to FR once I kill Sury.
Spoiler :
Civ4ScreenShot0007-9.jpg

But I'm getting a bit ahead of myself. I haven't even killed Saladin, my first target, let alone Giggles. Well, Saladin's down, and Giggles isn't a vassal to Boudica anymore. Oh these are fun times indeed.
Spoiler :
Civ4ScreenShot0008-9.jpg

Bismark refuses to cooperate with me, seems as though he's plotting a war. Shame, I wanted him to DOW on Stalin. However, my IW city comes through for me and builds the Statue of Liberty. Watch how it overlooks......A lake in Africa.
Spoiler :
Civ4ScreenShot0010-9.jpg

Joao got himself combustion. Nice! WE MUST TRADE O FAVORED VASSAL OF MINE.
Spoiler :
Civ4ScreenShot0011-8.jpg

But of course, these years weren't all happy and peaceful. Shaka's still alive, of course, so it's never peaceful. We do, however, DOW on Shaka after much preparation. Whoever recommended spies, thank you. It made it so much easier to knock the crap out of Shaka.
Spoiler :
Civ4ScreenShot0012-8.jpg

And so the first city falls....I also conveniently settled a second GG in my indian city close to where Delhi is IRL.
Spoiler :
Civ4ScreenShot0013-7.jpg

We once again get voted Big Jew, but it's uses are dead now. Shaka is a member of the faith, so we decide to handle things the dirty way. Oh how I love city revolts. :p
Spoiler :
Civ4ScreenShot0015-7.jpg
Civ4ScreenShot0020-6.jpg

And naturally, these all lead to the following:
Spoiler :
Civ4ScreenShot0017-6.jpg
Civ4ScreenShot0021-6.jpg

Meanwhile, Boudica asks us to DOW on the Russians, to which we agree to. Shaka's dead for all intents and purposes now.
Spoiler :
Civ4ScreenShot0018-6.jpg

The Russians have an enormous stack of medieval junk. I guess tactics never change, because the Russians ended up suiciding that entire stack into Machine Guns. This reminds so much of World War 1.....except I'm defending Baku instead of East Prussia?
Spoiler :
Civ4ScreenShot0022-5.jpg

We found another city in Somalia to take advantage of the fish and cows that are going to waste. It'll be a mediocre production city for the forseeable future.
Spoiler :
Civ4ScreenShot0023-5.jpg

More revolts......
Spoiler :
Civ4ScreenShot0024-4.jpg
Civ4ScreenShot0026-3.jpg

More captures......
Spoiler :
Civ4ScreenShot0025-4.jpg
Civ4ScreenShot0027-3.jpg
Civ4ScreenShot0028-3.jpg

Don't let my tone confuse you, I was having a blast with Cavalry and Spies. But Cavalry is beginning to take a backseat compared to.....Tanks! Am I the only one who thinks that Cavalry should upgrade to tanks?
Spoiler :
Civ4ScreenShot0029-3.jpg

To fill out my military juggernaut, I trade with JC for Artillery. Have I mentioned how much I like having vassals atm?
Spoiler :
Civ4ScreenShot0030-3.jpg

We take a new city founded by Shaka in Namibia, which we instant raze, but get 7 workers. Thank you Shaka. I'll never appreciate how nice it is to have you as a neighbor. And here's my final garrison for Baku. The Russian stack is huge! But I have machine guns. Stalin's going to try his mass human wave attacks. Sadly for him, I'm not as incompetent as Hitler.

On the same turn, I capture Shaka's last city in Africa, and he's now an empire that holds.....the Falklands and Rio. How very scary.
Spoiler :
Civ4ScreenShot0034-1.jpg

Sury asks us to convert to Hinduism, which I reject. But, there was a big hidden suprise in knocking the crap out of Stalin's stack. He vassals to me! Oh, and so does Shaka, but I may as well have let him vassal to Montezuma for all it matters now.

Spoiler :
Civ4ScreenShot0036-1.jpg
Civ4ScreenShot0037-1.jpg

Stalin gives me the only german city he ever took, and Shaka gave me the Falklands. I return the Falklands to Shaka, and Cologne to Bismark. At this point, I ask him to DOW on Giggles. Did anyone notice my huge stack I was building in India? :satan:

At this point, I own all of Africa, and Stalin is my vassal. The only free civs left in the Old World are Boudica, Bismark, Charlamagne, Sury, and Giggles, in order of threat. My current order plan is to go Giggles->Sury->Charly->Bismark->Invasion of Britain. I'll take Britain, Ireland, and Iceland, and then cap. Boudica. Charly, I personally want to kill, because his cities are naice. Very very naice. Then Bismark, I plan on taking cities that pose a threat culturally to my new Balkan cities and then vassaling him. By the time I kill Charlie, I'll have bombers. At this point, should I go with domination, conquest, space, or diplo? I can really win any one of them quite easily. Opinions?

And of course, the save. Thank you to Stewie0416 for suggesting Cavalry spam+Spies. Shaka was out within 10 turns, I believe. That is some serious speed war.

Question:

Does the world map change every time in this map script? Or is it the same world map, only with the resources and civs included being different?

EDIT:

I just went to the bottom of the page (didn't see what you wrote until now)...

Here's the next round. Success of war makes me anxious for more war, but sadly, this isn't more war, it's just an extreme build-up. I think we can safely call it overkill.

The round starts with me snagging Broadway. I had built it in one of my Indian cities, this one being very close where Kashmir is today. I love founding cities in the late game just because you can safely determine what you want to do with it. This one is solely production, like most of India.
Spoiler :
Civ4ScreenShot0000-12.jpg

For the next few turns, my buildup continues, but this is the first time I've been at peace since Giggles DOWed on me way back when. I switched from cavalry to tanks and began to pile up most of my units in the Delhi area. I just need one good excuse to wipe out Giggles....But the pontiff's seat comes up for reelection. Easy victory for me, and if I felt inclined, I could probably AP my way to victory. For now, I decide to get Stalin the city of Orenburg back. It fails slightly. Blame Stalin for poor diplo.
Spoiler :
Civ4ScreenShot0001-12.jpg

My city in the Delhi area soon built me another wonder, which went perfect with my want to smash and maim things. :deadhorse:
Spoiler :
Civ4ScreenShot0002-11.jpg

At this point, I began checking victory conditions. I have only 29% of the world's land area? You'd have thought it'd be much more, well, this just means Sury has to die, and so does Monty.
Spoiler :
Civ4ScreenShot0003-11.jpg

I get another GS which I use to build an academy in Uruk, Giggle's old capital. It ended up pumping 2 more beakers per turn than my capital, but my capital already had Oxford nearly done. Not really a big thing, just a funfact.
Spoiler :
Civ4ScreenShot0004-11.jpg

And then a crying Bismark runs into Hatshepsut's office and begs to kiss the snake on her hat.....errr, something like that. Anyway, apparently Giggles() was scaring Bismark, so he runs to me for cover. No problem Bismark, welcome to the family. One less to kill. :goodjob:
Spoiler :
Civ4ScreenShot0005-10.jpg

I sent 1/4th of the units stationed at Delhi to kill Giggles, it was obviously overkill, but I could afford to go with overkill. He had city garrison 3 units on a hill. Not fun. Anyway, Pacal comes by and asks us for another annoying demand. I can't wait to kill him and Montezuma.
Spoiler :
Civ4ScreenShot0006-9.jpg

Plastics comes in, and my IW city will only take 10 turns building it. That means easy power for every city I own except for Sri Lanka and the Philippines! The game can't register Eurasia-Africa as 3 or 2 separate continents, which is good for me.
Spoiler :
Civ4ScreenShot0007-10.jpg

About me saying that my West African city would be my last, well, I lied. :mischief: There where 3 spots to fill out, and I got around to 2 of 3 this round. One was a spot right next to Lake Chad(?), for filler.
Spoiler :
Civ4ScreenShot0008-10.jpg

I also have to say, Joao is my favorite vassal. He's the only one that can tech at a respectable rate. Anyway, I trade him Industrialism for flight, and most of my major cities begin building airports. I missed the Kremlin(HOOOOOWWWWWWWW, I got communism first ), but Rushbuy is still a possibility. Probably how I'll buy my fleet for taking out Monte. That, and rushbuying an airport. Then Monte is screwed. Completely and utterly screwed.
Spoiler :
Civ4ScreenShot0009-10.jpg

Then Willem gets us Radio(after 22 turns.....) which costs me an arm and a leg, but no matter. Plenty of arms that I've ripped off of Saladin, Shaka, and Giggles so far.
Spoiler :
Civ4ScreenShot0010-10.jpg

Oh, and we take Tibet. I should have razed the city and founded 2 more in better locations, but laziness is winning. I can taste and see blood!
Spoiler :
Civ4ScreenShot0011-9.jpg

I also get a GM, which I decide to save for a later Golden Age. Golden Age+Rushbuy -> ? -> Monty's head? Let's hope so.
Spoiler :
Civ4ScreenShot0012-9.jpg

I stopped here, satisfied with my military. Giggles is alive, but I can't reach him through Tibet, and I don't want to circle around with my military. I'd rather invade Sury. :hammer:. Now, I can update my cannons to artillery, my rifles to infantry, and I'm going to beeline gunships with so many cavalry. Now, is it time to invade Sury, or do I wait for bombers? I'm going to slog it out on this one, but I have spies. Lots and lots of spies and EPs. Opinions please.

Civ4ScreenShot0013-8.jpg

I played until I capitulated Sury. It was actually incredibly easy. I only took 1 city and Isabella took another. Originally I was planning on taking all of Southeast Asia then capping him but I decided to pace myself before Charlamagne got himself infantry.

The round began with me founding a city in Namibia where I took 7 workers from Shaka. It's only purpose is to stop the AI from poaching another city in Africa. I'm still slightly annoyed that Joao and Isabella beat me to North Africa.
Spoiler :
Civ4ScreenShot0000-13.jpg

More pile-up begins in India while I wait for a few bombers. In the meantime, the pontiff's seat is up for election again, and despite all the cities with Judaism I have, I'm not eligible anymore because of my lack of Judaism as a state religion.
Spoiler :
Civ4ScreenShot0001-13.jpg

Isabella ends up winning with my support, but she just sits there and does nothing. The next turn, Bismark cruises in with his stack to go and kill Giggles. I owe you one buddy. Maybe I'll let you take a few of Sury's cities? :p
Spoiler :
Civ4ScreenShot0002-12.jpg

The next turn, I finish researching Mass Media and have one of my Indian cities begin on the UN. I'm beyond certain that I could win by diplomination at this very moment, and it's always nice to have a backup if I mess up invading Montezuma.
Spoiler :
Civ4ScreenShot0003-12.jpg

Once I felt like I had enough bombers, I DOW on Sury and take his first city in Burma/Bangladesh. So far, too easy.
Spoiler :
Civ4ScreenShot0005-11.jpg

Right on time, Hatshepsut's private pool complete with a diving board is finished. She called it the Dam of 3 Georges. Why, I don't know.
Spoiler :
Civ4ScreenShot0006-10.jpg

That same turn, the Eifel Tower is completed, meaning culture isn't going to be a problem.(Like it ever was with so many vassals, my borders win over their borders regardless)
Spoiler :
Civ4ScreenShot0007-11.jpg

I'm right outside Sury's second city in Laos when he decides to call it in and kiss the serpent on Hatshepsut's hat. :p
Spoiler :
Civ4ScreenShot0008-11.jpg

Hatshepsut accepts Sury as her newest Biatch, and turns her eyes towards Anatolia. Charlamagne had fallen to cautious, plenty of reason right there to eliminate him! :hammer:

So, let's tally up:

AI Killed: Giggles, Saladin, Greece(In order of how fun it was to kill them)
AI maimed forever: Shaka, Zara(In terms of severity)
AI that are mostly intact as vassals: Sury, Willem, Bismark, Caesar, Joao, Isabella, Mehmed, Stalin(In order of what shape they are in. Did I mention Willem shrined?)
AI left to kill: Charlamagne, Boudica, Pacal, Montezuma(In order of future death)

Charlamagne better say his prayers, because Hatshepsut is gonna stitch his crown onto her hat in a symbol of power!

EDIT: Let's talk about difficulty. I KNOW I'm going to play the next game at Monarch, this was too easy a romp where I could be as careless as I wanted. I can keep up techwise some of the time when I play emperor. On an earth map, should I play Emperor instead of Monarch on the next game? More importantly, who do you want to see for the next game?

The Radioactive Finale

Here it is, the big finale, the round where I capitulate everybody and win! The round starts with me teching to computers. I don't have a single wonder obsoleted by it, so it's a big win for me. Although I end up finishing this game with rushbought nukes.
Spoiler :
Civ4ScreenShot0000-14.jpg

I trade Plastics to Joao for Fission. I can't emphasize enough how useful Joao has been in this game. He da bomb, and that's why he's who I'm going to play in LSOE 2. He actually ends up sending a load of battleships to harass Montezuma and Boudica.
Spoiler :
Civ4ScreenShot0000-14.jpg

Oh, and I complete the UN. My opponent is Sury, but I win regardless. I ended up voting for the universal currency and trade routes with all foreign cities. Suffice to say, they passed. I also tech to refrigeration, which would end up being vital to how fast I won this game. It peeled off several turns, I believe.
Spoiler :
Civ4ScreenShot0003-13.jpg

With a monster stack, I DOW on Charlie, and take his first city in Anatolia, after which he capitulates. I didn't even lose a unit. That should tell you how easy a time I had capitulating him. I gift him back the city, and begin to mass rush transports. By the time I switched to mass rushing ICBMs, I had about 20 extra transports. Did you see how huge my stack was? That should say something about how many transports I built. It was so incredible they even made a move about it, "Thee Grande Fleet of thee Queen's Navee", except it took place in the Sinai, not in England.
Spoiler :
Civ4ScreenShot0006-11.jpg

Montezuma asks me to give him education, to which I decline. If he DOWed, then all the better. I would receive better diplo, hehe. Conveniently, this pic also shows my army and a TINY fraction of my final navy.
Spoiler :
Civ4ScreenShot0009-11.jpg

I also built the internet, damning all my vassals to forever muck around while I pimp out the techs they research! BWAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.....excuse me.
Spoiler :
Civ4ScreenShot0010-11.jpg

I tech to robotics, meaning I could upgrade my artillery, but at this point, why bother? I'm stocking up money to mass rush nukes and knock the living crap out of everybody!
Spoiler :
Civ4ScreenShot0012-10.jpg

Speaking of nukes, this picture is worth 1,000,000 words of complicated chemical analysis which I don't want to get into. But I could you know. I could.....heh.
Spoiler :
Civ4ScreenShot0014-8.jpg

And so it begins......My Grand Fleet reaches Pacal, where I DOW on him immediately and invade his cities in Brazil by sea. I didn't have ICBMs yet, so this was where I expected to lose most of my units. Monty didn't have rifles yet, but Pacal did. But if what happened to Charlamagne is any indication, then you should know now: ROMP

I vassalized Pacal, so I regroup my Grand Fleet, with reinforcements on the way. Halfway there, I realize, oh wat? I have a crapload of nukes and I'll never run out at this rate? Let's send them to Boudica instead and add her to Hathsepsut's harem! Meanwhile, I send the Grand Fleet to Florida. After knocking out Pacal, I was thinking my army needed a break and should instead head to Orlando to enjoy a few weeks off. That, or to kill Montezuma. I also got Medicine from Pacal.

Watch those nukes fly! I razed every city I capture from Monty after killing all it's defenders with two nukes per city. Except Tenochtitlan. It had a shrine and was the holy buddhist city. :goodjob:

Charlamagne teched to satelites, and we trade him. I had turned off research completely and just wanted to kill Monty as soon as humanely possible. To save time, I will know post a collage from the guts of Monty's human sacrifices I scraped off of the alter in Tenochtitlan. Or better yet, I'll just post all the cities I razed. Much more gruesome than a pile of blood and guts. We also DOWed on Boudica, but nuke spam reduced her to a shadow of her former self. When Hatshepsut went to collect her for her harem, she had turned radioactive green! So, she let her rot in England.

This reminds me of a worst-case scenario from the 9-11 lunatics. "Egyptian radicals have kidnapped a crapload of nukes and destroyed America!/Britain!" Apparently, it was written by a bunch of extreme conservative neo-nazis, because Mexico seemed to have annexed all of the USA and Canada. Well, the Aztecs. Close enough. Anyway, Boudica had enough and she kissed the snake on Hatshepsut's hat.

Here are more pictures of more wrecked cities of Montezuma's:

Too late, I remembered about my Golden Ages I had saved up. Better late then never.

And then, the grand finale. Monte capitulates! I could have ended the game in 2 more turns and 'liberated' as far north as Quebec and as far east as Nova Scotia, but I wanted to end it this turn, in 1852.

This picture describes it fairly accurately. I really like the conquest victory animation, personally. Looks very nice, and it mirrors how I won personally. Good tech manipulation of my vassals and army superiority. In a way.

Behold, Conquest!
Civ4ScreenShot0034-2.jpg

The map at the end of the game: I could have annexed A LOT more land for myself. I could have eaten Sury all the way to Beijing. But then realizing that speed matters is what made me change my mind. I have to play a no vassals game someday, just so I can pain the entire map the color of my choosing.

Builds: Notable things, I built more ICBMs then anything else(59), followed by transports(46!), followed by Tanks, Rifles, Catapults, Elephants(), Cannons, then Workers. I only built 14 the entire game but I had 37 at the end. That should say something about the number of workers I captured.

Finally, score: My 3rd highest ever. My 2nd highest was a shadow of Neal's preatorian romp on prince(I meant to play emperor, but I clicked too fast), followed by a score at 1.47 million???!?!?!? On Prince?!?!?!?!? The map started in 1500 and went by months. It was a Caribbean map. I won in 1524. So, basically, unknowingly cheap score. That game was still a whole load of fun. Anyway, I hope to start the next one soon, sometime this week. Joao it is; I have a lot of respect for the AI Joao after this game, so he gets the honor of wearing Hatshetpsut's hat next game!

Thanks for following my path of destruction as I butchered everybody from Saladin to Montezuma! :ar15::thanx:

Things I will do next game:
1. Post a link to each post on the first page next game
2. Abuse GP more. I hardly used them this game, apart from that spy that let me shred Shaka
3. Not go for conquest, hopefully. War takes quite a bit on a laptop, even a super high end one.

You should have one big spoiler with all the images and texts in it instead of having several spoilers with text above it. It's just easier to read it in one swoop rather than going up and down.
