Ma Files have gone walkabout

Hey All,

Not sure if this is the right section to post in. I just have "Civilization 3" and I have been looking at unlimited gold cheats - they say to modify a file that is in a directory that doesn't exist. The cheat:

Unlimited Gold
First make a backup copy of the file script.slc, which is located in ..\ctp_data\default\gamedata. Then open up the original with any text editor and add the following lines:

trigger 'DOR_T_Give_Gold' when (IsHumanPlayer(g.player) && (player.1.gold<=200000))
{
AddGold(g.player,1000000);
}

Could anyone tell me where this file is located or which file to mod in it's place.

You're free to do what you want with your game, of course, but I'm not sure a forum called "Civfanatics" is the best place to ask for a cheat

Try the game at chieftain level ; it's easy enough, you won't have to cheat

Aye,

I'm playing through that at the moment, it's just a preffered playing Alpha Centauri with 99999999 credits, justa little wait of the mind

What you've found is a cheat for Call To Power, not Civ 3.

..\ctp_data\default\gamedata

So you won't find the file.

I don't think there is a known unlimited gold cheat for Civ 3.

I think there was a script file where you could do something like that (found it over 2 years ago, so it's down in the depths of the forum...). It was similar to that, though.
