Seems to be set in New Orleans and your character is a Vietnam vet. I'm a little disappointed it doesn't pick up where Mafia 2 left off (damn you stupid cliffhanger!) or go back to the 20s again but it might still be quite fun, we'll see. Neat to see that the PC is half black. EDIT: Apparently the old guy on the right is confirmed to be Vito from Mafia 2.

Unfortunately it looks like they're taking cues from Ubisoft's new standard for generic AAA games
Although they did need more stuff to do in Mafia 1 & 2.
