I haven't played it in probably two years, but I played for many before then. I still have my cards, somewhere. I should probably E-Bay them while I still can.
I never played it in RL. The cards are expensive as hell and they can only be ordered from abroad.
I can't say that i am very tempted to play it in RL tho. I've played WoW card game at a friend which is almost the same thing. I'd rather play Magic on a computer because i REALLY hate pre-made decks. I always want a random deck - for me the game is about improvising and adapting to situations; not about thinking of 1 or 2 strategies for 1 deck and doing that over and over - that's just boring.
I Used to play MtG a lot but quit years ago. All the serious players moved away from town so there was no sense in continuing as it's not exactly a cheap hobby. I only regret that I didn't take the game seriously enough - I did quite well against my local pro tour guys, they tried to encourage me to focus more on the game but somehow the idea of playing for money didn't appeal to me back then. Then those pro tourers moved to our capital and the serious scene died in here and I just moved to new games.
