Major Civ Picker But For City-States And Wonders

When I start a game I'm able to pick what major civilizations will appear, or pick 'random', so I can ensure one or two major civs are in the game and have the rest randomly selected from the remaining pool. You can't do that with the city-state or wonder pickers and there's no way to ensure one or a few will definitely appear in the game without specifying every city-state and wonder for the game.

Now that you mention it, id prefer if the major civ choices worked like wonders and city states. I dont get much mileage out of the way it currently works.

For civ’s, if it is implemented in any of the remaining patches I would like you could set options for each of the slots.

That way, you could set up the game to have different types of adversaries without knowing exactly who would they be. Or for flavour or balanced TSL, set each one of the slots to an specific world area...

I probably won't be able to make an equivalent for city-states (due to how the system is coded), but check this out for Natural Wonders: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2215414456

This is most excellent, thank you!

I haven't ever made use of this either and I would definitely appreciate being able to exclude certain civs on maps like Terra where Maori can get half the map by being the only civ being able to reach it from turn 1. Ideally we'd get the option to include, exclude, or pick from a pre-defined group for wonders, civs and city-states.

I hope that it's a feature that gets introduced in a future update. I don't like picking the AIs and leave them on Random. There's some civs I'd be happy to never see again because I think they're annoying and they seem to appear in every game just for the sole purpose of annoying me.

You can. You just set the number available CSs equal to the number of CSs then only the selected CSs may appear.
I think what they mean is (as an example) of the 15 City-States in their game, they want Mitla, Jerusalem and Auckland, but the other 12 randomly chosen.
I'm just using the numbers and CSs as examples.

As an aside, I've been after a toggle for players for ages. Three options = (1) selected as opponent by me, (2) in a pool of possible random players, and (3) disabled for this game. I suppose what you'd have would be a list where you check on / off members in your pool of leaders.
It's no big deal, more of a QoL thing. I can still pick and choose leaders but it just makes the game setup take longer.
