I have patched to Version 1.52 and encountered some bugs. I am lucky that I never get crash to desktop or even blue screen of death with my GeForce 6800 GT and Forceware Driver 84.12 and there is no graphic problems.

However, I encountered some bugs below:

1. During the tutorial, in certain circumstances, the tutorial could lock up AFTER I ended my turn but graphics and animation still work. I can still able to terminate Civilization IV via ALT-F4 shortcut because thread 1 will respond to system requests while thread 2 is in "infinte loop" mode.

2. Sometimes the tooltip could not be displayed when I hover technology item or resources item on selection pop-up when my city completed the resources or the technology. That bug also applies to city screen as well.

3. Also for the tutorial, it does not fix save & reload bug from Version 1.09. If I save and reload the game, the tutorial is turned off and I will get conquer victory on next turn.

When will next patch be released? :)

This is not related to NVidia-cards, it happens with ATI-cards as well. In most cases you may help yourself by entering your capital (F10), removing a worker from a certain tile and putting it back again.
By this, the mouse-over functionality is triggered again, and you may go to other screens with it working again.

Of cours, this sometimes doesn't help, if you are in some menu (building list or diplomacy) where you cannot enter your city screens.

This bug that prevented mouseover popup from displayed in certain circumstances are NOT PRESENT (I think) when I set render quality to medium. Therefore, with medium quality, I can always see mouseover popup everytime I hover my house on pop-up's item selections.

Result of the quality are not affected because I am using pixel shader V2.0 that my display driver handle. Pixel Shader V2.0 inside display driver give me all quality I get that highest quality provided so I don't notice any difference. I think high quality use Civ's own internal pixel shader while medium quality use external pixel shader. I only notice quality degradation if I force to limit to pixel shader V1.3 via RivaTuner.
