I am talking in the context of willingness to be friends and unlikeliness to backstab.

Gandhi, William, Pacal, Harun Rashid come to mind? What do you guys think?

Venice also has a very high likeliness to be both, friendly and willing to be friends (both 5-9) - he's also extremely likely to be deceptive, but due to the fact that he basically never has any units that doesn't really come through.

Siam is always a reliable ally of mine. Never had any issues with them, except for one time where I invaded him towards the end of the game just for the fun of it.

Its difficult for the friendly civs.. Most friendly civs I've seen hardly ever get to survive since other non-friendly civs attack and conquer their cities.

Well I play with different personalities on (great mode), so I never really know who is going to be a backstabber or good Ally till late. However, Venice has been the one good guy, sticking with me through backstabs and wars from everyone else.

England, Austria and Sweden have been friendly ais to me at first. When they found out I was a threat, they started to attack though.

Everyone else seems to have bad luck with her, but I've often found a strong ally in Catherine. Never backstabbed once, even when our borders touched and she was remarkably stronger.

Pedro, William, Haille Selasse, Kamahameha, Ramkhamhaeng, Gustavus and Ahmad Al Mansur are frequently good friends of mine, and perhaps more surprisingly, I've often had lasting relationships with people like Harald Bluetooth and Gengis Khan.

I've found Brazil and Ethiopia to be the nicest but if you start warmongering I feel these guys are the least forgiving to you.

How do you guys/girls trust Siam? Raka is a real freak and so instable in my games!

On topic, on the top of my head, I would say the most trustworthy for me would say:
- Brazil
- Venice
- Morocco
-India
- the Huns but not very wise being friend with the hated boy

Me too. I really like that feaure. Highly recommended to encourage better gameplay.

The Zulu are an interesting folk. They have the highest Loyalty stat in the game, so they are always good friends of mine if I'm able to get them as a friend in the first place.

It's easy to befriend Genghis, because everybody else hates him. So sad it is diplomatic suicide. Whenever he's around in my games he usually proposes DOFs through the whole game. Sometimes I accidently click yes and have to reload, haha.

Theodora is allways friendly if I'm a good lad. I think she is the friendliest and I can't recall her ever backstab or act like a prick if I doesn't deserve it.
