Map Of Poland (the borders after 1945) made few months ago for Polish Tribes Mod - now with standalone version with 7 random nations added (tough it's the most playable imo with 10 nations)
Civ4 Vanilla Edition

Grid width=70
Grid height=51
Num plots written=3570
7 randomly added players (Recommended for 7-13 players - and 10 is imo optimal)
Added Rivers
Added bonuses - also added randomly to make map more balanced

Judging from the screenshot, it appears you could've placed more hills, especially in the south. But apart from that, I think it looks very detailed and challenging. Think I'll give it a try. (y)

Do you consider a Polish map in the borders before 1945 esp. in the timeframe after WW1 ?

yep i'll probably do this probably with some space for neibourghs - it would be cool map for ww2 scenario
i've also started this map for XVIII century scenario - but i hang up this project few months ago

- probably i'll rework it - because it's to big - it could be also good for ww2 scenario

I think it's never to late to play civ4

I started to think it's even better moment to play Civ4 then 4 years ago Now we can appreciate how great Civ4 is

Well, Civ 4 have some things which Civ 5 still lack (like religion, city health, etc) and also much more mods, maps and scenarios still... And Graphics and playability is still great.

Due to the size of this map, I think showing the handful of deserts in Poland would work, at least for contrast from all of the plains and grasslands. Examples include the dunes of Slowinski National Park, and Błędów Desert. Some may argue that none of these are real deserts, but I am not pointing this out to argue this.
