Marble - does it help with wonder building in CiV?

Can't see any description that suggest it does ... Can someone cure my blindness?

Yes it helps on a city basis (not your whole empire) if it is in the radius of that city. You can see this by hovering over the production for your marble city when a wonder is in production.

Go to city with access to marble, open the city screen, set production to any wonder and check the production details. You will see that the bonus of 25% is added to your production.
Plus I always get notification - hey your city have access to marble, go for wonder building

I'm not sure you even need to have it improved, I think just the fact that its in your city radius will give you the bonus.

I distinctly remember not getting the little "you've got marble" message until after I built the quarry.

Whether or not the game would have given me the actual bonus pre-quarry I don't know, but the UI message was after improving the terrain.

If you build your city on the marble you don't even need masonry.. brokeness

Marble is superior to all the other luxury by far, I think 10% would be more than enough

Your steel workers are more productive, because they have really nice johns.

I can't remember, but do we know which wonders can get the marble bonus? Not all of them do, right? If we don't know which ones get resource bonus, why not?

there is no info in the awful civ 5 civilopedia

and marble increases wonder production for all wonders by 25% after its improved via quarry in my experience so far

At some stage you get message from somewhere telling you that you'll get a bonus to building wonders in the city. I think it's when the marble is quarried or you capture a city with a quarry.

All wonders?? Even the ones that are not built...nevermind. Are there any other resources that offer a wonder production bonus?
