Okay, so I just watched Full Metal Jacket on TV....

In the new game how about some rule, where, when Marine units enter a jungle they loose health, this would be a way of representing realistic friendly fire casualties.

And forests should grow like they did in Alpha Centauri, I remember suggesting that way back in the day.

Could be a good idea but I should think you would want to add a chance system to it otherwise it would seem that you have stupid marines that shoot each other everytime they entered a jungle, and I don't know about you but that would annoy me especially since they are not that strong in direct land attacks in the first place.

I think that currently any unit fortified in a jungle square has a chance of loosing health points and dying...why that should be a specific to the marines?

And if the issue is friendly fire, should it not also apply to to other terrain squares where visibility is limited? forests, swamps, hills, mountains, etc?
