Hello, Sir!
Hey guys, my interest in the Mario series just recently returned with Super Mario World on the GBA, and now I'm very eager to get Yoshi's Island and Super Mario Bros. 3. Who here is still interested in the series? And is there any place where I may find Yoshi's Island and/or Mario 3 for the GBA?

My 5-year-old cousin has Mario 3 for the Game Boy Advance. I've seen him play it, and it exists.

So does Yoshi's Island.

Try Ebay if you can't find it.

After I showed gameplay clips to my younger brother, he loved them.

IMO I really hope Super Mario RPG makes it to the VC. At least the original Paper Mario is being remade on the DS (not unlike Super Mario 64).

I am guessing that Yoshi's Island and the original Mario Kart should make it to the VC as well. Both games' inferior sequels have.

Oh, as far as GBA games go, my younger brother wants A Link to the Past the most (probably because he used to have it and he liked playing it). And after that, the original Advance Wars.

Are those good picks or what?

Never played link to the past, but I'd skip right over the original advance wars and go either to the 2nd one or to dual strike on the DS. The original was great, but the features on the newer ones are just better.

Wouldn't playing the original Advance Wars help me understand its sequels better?

Not really. I started with the 2nd one. Everything gets explained, so it's pretty much fine. The same goes for Dual Strike.

The first Advance Wars is excellent.

I recommend that you play the series from beginning to end so you can enjoy each for what they brought to the gaming community on their own.

Dunno about Advance Wars, but A Link to the Past is pure gold. Tough to beat, but great.

Get A Link to the Past if you possibly can. Great great terrific great. Most Zelda games are pure greatness, but ALTP is the best of the 2D Zeldas.

Which would you recommend between Advance Wars and Advance Wars 2?

Now he wants WarioWare the most!

Which would you recommend between the original and Twisted!

1. Would the GBA Pokemon and Mario Kart games be obsolete now by their sequels?
2. Which would you guys recommend between Mario, Zelda, Metroid, Advance Wars, and Castlevania?

2. At least Mario, Zelda and Metroid are great. Zelda is the toughest, Mario is the funniest, Metroid is tough and fun.

For the campaigns in the original Age of Empires would you recommend using the standalone version or teh expansion pack? IMO I'm using a guide.
