Marshes/Strategic Resources not appearing

Several people are reporting that marsh graphics do not appear on their maps with the GEM Beta, and sometimes strategic resources do not appear. The test maps I've tried work okay, so there must be something more specific causing these problems. Try the things on the common checklist to see if something there solves the problem. #6 on the list is very important. Make sure you have only one version of the mod installed in the MODS folder. The steam workshop downloader frequently installs multiple versions mods for me, which messes up the game.

If you've encountered one of these map issues and the checklist didn't fix it, what mods do you have installed, and map script are you playing on?

Which version of the patch is uploaded on the Workshop?

I used version 21 with the GEM beta and had no marshes or strategic resources, but downloaded patch version 22 from here and no problems so far.

Toddy is correct about the outdated version of CivUP being on the Workshop.

I was subscribed to CivUP, and it kept installing version 21 in my Mods folder last night. Had to unsubscribe it, then manually install version 22 from here.

(Just finished a CivUP V20 game last night with GEM v1.01, so will try playing a quick game today with CivUP v22 and GEM v1 Beta Stage 2.)

I had reported the problem with marshes and strategic resources, and upgrading from CivUP 21 to 22 seems to have resolved both issues.

My steam only installs v 21. To get 22 I have to do it manually.
With 21 I get the same graphical error.

I can now confirm that manually installing CivUP v22 along with GEM v1 Beta - Stage 2 does indeed fix the graphics problem with marsh hexes.
