I saw this movie last night. In short it is about a british naval ship who is trying to hunt down a bigger French ship. I won't ruin the movie by explaining it. It wasn't the best movie but it is worth seeing it if you like naval warefare, although it involves only two ships in 1805 but it shows some good tactics they used. Anyhows, the movie made me want to play civ and build up my navy. I didn't have time to use the navy since it was late, but my enemies tonight will feel the wrath of my mighty navy. Mwahahah, MWHAAHAHAHAhahahahah!!!
(sorry for the outburst but it is friday and I have 1 1/2 hours left of work.)

Itll be moved to off topic before long.

Yes, its an awesome movie, the book series is even better,

I didn't see the movie (yet), but it reminded me of the Horatio Hornblower series. Check it out when it reappears.

One of the hard things to imagine is that mass destruction was still not possible even in that day. Even a cannon blast would kill only a few men.

There was one naval battle where a lucky shot detonated the ammo supply and blew up the flagship (french, off the coast of Egypt, IIRC). Everyone was so stunned that the battle actually stalled for a few minutes while everyone struggled to comprehend the destruction.

I hope it's not moved, my whole idea for writing it was because it inspired my civ playing.
