I will be starting a new pitboss game, all interested plz post here.

The settings

Version: BTS 3.13 (clean no patches)
Map: Arboria
Wrap: Toroidal
Size: Huge 18 players medium sea level
Start: Ancient
Level: Noble
Speed: Quick
Barbs: off
Tech trading off
Huts: ON
Random events: ON
Victories: all enabled
Unrestricted leaders (dublicates allowed)
Resources: standard
No Vassal sates
Timer: 20 hours
Direct IP - Hamatchi

Extra rules
Romans banned, Aztec banned (You can use their leaders, but not the civilization)
1 log in per turn during war
Player who moved first in the turn that war started has 6 hours to move first in the next turn.(the other player must wait for him but can move after 6 hours)
In the case that 6 hours pass and the other player moves this does not change the order. So player who played first in the turn that war started will always have priority until war ends.

Since we will be 18 people, if you have to go away for a few days you either find a sub (who is not in this game) or ask me to kick to AI. the game will not stop.

If more than 2 people are in the same war, then we all still should make an effort to keep the 6 hour rule and avoid double turns.

Interesting. How does arboria map look? tons of forests? Abuntant of deer? basically nothing unforested? Why are romans and aztec banned though? Praets aren't very unbalanced in mp as humans know how to deal with them. Sure jaguars are more powerfull when there are forests everywhere but alot of those forests will be chopped and they aren't very powerfull to begin with. Also i still think huts have the potential to be rather unbalancing. That said you are the host so... Are vassal states on btw? Speed quick will certanly shake up things making later UU's and UB's more powerfull.

I might be interested though that depends on if i have time to start another game right now(or rather when i get back my comp...).

It makes perfect sense to me to ban Rome and Aztecs. Jag warriors on arboria are war chariots that never die when defending. Noone can chop all surrounding forests by the time the Jags arrive on quick speed. And Praetorians get a huge defensive Bonus from forests, too.

Count me in.

Arboria is a pangea with unpredictable shape, very little to no desert and as you said lots of forest and dear. I think oil is very rare in Arboria as well.

Romans are unbalanced in my opinion and jags for this map are too much.

Anyway there are lots of other options left.

Huts can be unbalancing and I don't mind turning them off if everyone wants.

Interested. Guess I should play some SP on quick to get used to the speed.

Impis or Keshiks.. decisions decisions.

Since it is quick and no TT, how about a rather crowded map so as to not overpower expanding peacefully too much? On that note it is pretty damn hard to chose independent of if the map will be crowded or not. This is obviously up to you(unless 18 people sign up). Since this very much affect the game it would be nice to know beforehand...

I'm interested, too, but I'll be absent until monday... You can count me in if you don't start until than...
I have BTS 3-13, think that it wouldn't be a problem...

So rather crowded then, good.

We will wait to start this until Tuesday 19/02. Max players is 12 so another 4 spots left.

Start thinking about your leaders, and post them by Monday.

I'll play if you'll have me. Huyana Capac of India sounds good.
