Thanks for the game. I thought it looked a little drawish if you traded Bishops on move 14, though I still had a slight advantage. Regarding the Queen trade, there's an adage which says: When up trade pieces, when down trade pawns.

I wouldn't mind another, but I'm going to try to start the tournament this week. If it's practical (and I think it will be), I would like the next game to count torwards the tournament. Even if it isn't practical, start the thread and I'll play. (Your turn as White.):goodjob:
 
When up material, it is usually good to trade pieces because it becomes much harder for the side who's down to defend his Pawns (read as: Queens-to-be) or launch a counter attack. Conversely, when down material you want to try to reduce the Pawns becase material advantages, without Pawns, are often drawish; even if it is winnable, it is often extremely dificult to realize.
