Members' Elimination Rules Discussion

Number 9 is not needed, since for the Country elimination game, it is so big you need to spoiler for a time. But for that one you should tell your votes outside of the spoiler. Also I always upvote using blue, since it is a more positive colour than green.

Pick some amount of time and just announce it clearly when you create the voting thread.
Just to make sure I've got this right: When the next thread is started, set up another thread with it for voting? (I'm not in the mood for taking chances on rowdy voters who might grab their torches and pitchforks because I made a mistake in the setup. :p)

The more important question is... will it be a poll type of vote or an Elimination type of downvote? ;)

Sounds reasonable. The rules could probably just say indicate your votes by using colors.

Sounds good. When should voting begin and end?

Also, I'm thinking that each GM will serve a two game term, after that, a reelection will be held. That way, we won't have to go through the hassle of holding elections after every game. In addition to this, if, for any reason, the elected GM will not be able to post the new thread, the runner up, would GM the next thread. What do you think?

As for the candidates, we have two so far: General Olaf and christos200.

That sounds reasonable. Maybe open the election after about 10 people are eliminated, then close when it got to 10 left, on the thread running at the time? Gives a decent amount of time to vote, since the list seems to usually have about 35 people on it.

This is entirely ridiculous.

I'm kind of enjoying it, but I'm a perfectionist, so I'm picky. :p

EDIT: Not to be confused with Perfectionism, n. Worship of CFC user, Perfection.

Sounds good. For announcing candidacies, should I go ahead and open a thread for it now?

Why not? Go ahead. :D

Alright then. :goodjob:
