If you go to the logs folder under the info in my documents for civ 4 you find several files like this: "MPlog-2056_11-6-2005_4-41-46"

in this log is kinda like a play by play of what happened in the turn, for every player, lots of interesting things there.... well this is one of them:

Rand = -702210057 on 531863 (Memory Decay)
Rand = -308933020 on 531863 (Memory Decay)
Rand = 1721682125 on 531863 (Memory Decay)
Rand = 1851270530 on 531863 (Memory Decay)
Rand = -612252525 on 531863 (Memory Decay)
Rand = 1557638352 on 531863 (Memory Decay)

this was in there in various forms about 50 times...

might have something to do with our problems, might not....

before anyone asks:

Athlon XP 3200
1 gig ram
FX5200 256mb AGP
page file = 2560mb

"Memory Decay" doesn't sound like any kind of error message I've ever heard of, but it might refer to the in-game AI. Those lines make it look like something has a random chance to do something and then on top of that, "memory decay" also occurs. Offhand I couldn't say what it refers to, but it looks like something very well-formed and non-erroneous that probably has to do with events that occurred during the AI turns.
