Back on 20th July 2005 a bunch of fanatical civ players decided to take the game to its limits.

A new type of game, the MTDG (multi-team demo-game) was created, it is played as a pbem the difference however is that all players within a team are encouraged to discuss their respective moves and strategies in their own private forum. Diplomacy is really emphasised and deals are forged and broken between rivals.

This game had 4 teams and a custom made map created.

Visit here to read more and perhaps join a team for the new game.

I was randomly assigned to team MIA and found the whole experience extremely entertaining and rewarding.

The game ended 22nd October 2006.

Enough of the spiel

The other reason to post here is to perhaps inspire others to produce movies of their game exploits :D :D

EDIT ... I should have mentioned that there are spelling mistakes :(
... but the game ended ... ummm .. lets ust say swifter than expected (Invasion and Victory in 1 turn :wow: ) and Gen_W had to rush the production before the private team forums were opened

Well done and all, but by misspelling "unguarded" you took away quite a lot of the drama in 4th chapter.

That's a very good way to tell a civ story. Especially if it is just a game without a out of game story. Yours was even better with the diplomatic and multiplayer aspects.

I wonder if I'd want to do this. Then again, I have internally sworn to myself never to post on YouTube. Not that it's a bad place....
