I intentionally used very dense city build...
That would help us to have more productive cities in the beginning of the game.
For this particular map it looks like we have a lot of empty area, but when we play AWE we won't have such luxury, and winning or losing AWE will pretty much depend on how many units can we pump, and that will depend on how many cities can we squeeze in the area not so large as the current one.
I base my experience on SGOTM3 game where we have had very dense city locations. It's okay when city tiles overlap, all we need is for the city to be able to reach size 7 and build a horse in 5 turns and less. Then having large number of cities we can keep pumping horses and use resource disconnect technique to kill any enemy in no time. I assume resource disconnect is allowed exploit in AW game, or am i wrong?
Few things I don't like about el_fit dot map:
blue dot should be moved one tile NE to pop the barb hut immediately.
Yellow dot one tile NE to make it a coastal city.
Orange dot - low food supply.
Locations of eastern cities are questionable still we need to reveal the fog.
I personally prefer to use the dot-map Microbe had came up with.
