'cause they wanted it to go for more than 2 seconds before ringing alarm bells? I dunno... :p

It might have been a demonstration to a potential employer.
 
Or, as just suggested to me... maybe it was a secret message to terrorists? :mischief:
 
That took some guts, and of course, SKILL. It's not easy to break into Microsoft. Ergo, the Microsoft site does not run on Microsoft software ;)
