I wasn't aware a Turkey civilization existed.

However, I voted Babylon for their awesome walls, useful Bowmen and incredible UA. I was able to have 5 Academies near Babylon, my National College city. It was amazing. I was so far ahead in research, it was excellent.

Have to go with Babylon because of their walls and that early academy. The early academy from the GS has really saved my butt a few times.

The ottomans are so awful in this game. Their special ability is practically useless. I went with Babylon and I also like Persia.

But their unique units are awesome. The janissary being able to heal 100% after killing a unit carries over when they are upgraded; they are an awesome UU. the sipahi is fast and can deal a lot of damage. Many people overlook the Ottomans as being a good civ because of their mediocre UA. They don't know what they are missing out on.

Babylon because Science is the most important yield in unmodded CiV. But I do enjoy playing the other civs a lot more, because Babylon is a bit boring with an uncreative trait.

Conquest: Persia, Ottomans
Economy, REX: Arabia
Science, REX or not: Babylon
Culture: Egypt

Babylon. Best civ period.

The Great Scientist before turn 30--insta tech!

By spamming the bowman (only 200 :c5gold: so you can rush-buy 3-4), you can take down a whole continent.

And serious walls to boot if you get into trouble on your frontiers.

I clicked Ottomans by mistake.

Babylon is the best, period. They're just plain, all-around awesome.

I know what I'm missing out on. I'm missing out on a civ that is awful to play as until the renaissance when they get their good units. By this time if they haven't been wiped out yet, then they can have some good gameplay. But it may likely be too late and their score is lagging behind.

Which middle eastern civ is the best. Please explain why. Thanks to JWAT44 for the idea.:goodjob:

so next will be asian or american?? lol. i picked egypt because i love building wonders because they are part of the small amount of things that can only be used or built by one civ so i can get a bonus and keep that bonus away from everyone else (and a little score boost ;))

He already got Asian:goodjob:
Well just China, Japan, and Mongolia. No Siamese for some reason.
I think the next would be more of "indigenous" civs. Hawaii vs. Native Americans vs. Inca vs Aztec.

and no india. and what about the U.S.??
