Figured I'd be honest in the title. Let me build up to the question to assist anyone who might be bored enough to answer. When Civ5 first came out I read a lot of comments about not liking the game. Granted, I realize that is standard practice on the internet for anything. However, in the moment I was skeptical and I pirated (again with the honesty) the game because I was low on money, unsure if I wanted it, and lacking in morals. After about 2 hours of play time I decided that Civ4 was simply the greatest game of all time and 5 lacked the depth or feeling of depth that 4 had. I walked away and I still enjoy playing Civ4 (purchased, if you're thinking I'm a jerk) for upwards of 8 hours at a time.
With context out of the way, I know I'm not in a unique situation by any means, so my question is this: Has Civ5 been made into the game that might hold my interest? I've been away far too long to catch up without asking.
Moderator Action: CFC does not in any way condone piracy. Please do not talk about pirating games here.
