Well A: It isn't done yet. Got the bottom half to do as well as the depressions on top
And B: It doesn't work well due to world size constraints. Come Minecraft 1.0 we will hopefully have a much taller world which will make the scale better (the middle section is far far too short and the subsphere is a little too big, as are the golden rings on top are too tall)/

And thanks for being supportive! I love having people demand things of me only to say crappy things about it! Just makes my day sooo much better *eye roll*

I just think that domes look really weird in Minecraft because of the blocks, and there isn't anything you can do about that.

I'm not a Minecraft player but I thought it looked nice! It kind of looks like a national senate building.

Flying saucer above it's docking platform. The saucer isn't perfectly round so you can nitpick about it all you want. Made in creative (doh!)

heres a redstone invention i made with a few other people i designed it they helped me lay out all the wiring though

pretty much it allows you to make whatever you want on it words or pictures by just flipping the levers
im also working on a similar one that saves images then you press a button(or lever) and a set picture comes up

That is very cool! It was especially interesting to check out how it's been built.

Has anyone noticed the sun rises in the east now? That messes up my old Alpha manor build. Oh well, at least the moon rises in the side windows (looks a little creepy now, and that's the library side. Enchanting Room, anyone?).

Also, seed "TNT Test" (without the quotes) gives an interesting 2-tree island containing an oval and square lake.

Yeah that was was one of the documented changes for the latest pre-release of 0.9. It will be great for my new mansion if the world is kept for 0.9.

EDIT: Having just found a new game someone got working in Minecraft on the server, this map isn't going anywhere

It did. East and West are moving now, and clouds will also change direction (west iirc, they used to go 'North').

im working on a modified version of the picture machine its going to be more of a tv that you can put the images into the memory then play them back and i need help building it so pm me and ill give you the server ip if you want to help build it or just see it so far

I've been working on my new manor on a fairy large island (with an excellent river moat on 2 or 3 sides). It's not even 25% done yet and I keep changing things as I go along. I still need to put in a 3rd story, a roof, and then start on what will be the ground floor, storage and basement levels below. However, so far it is going pretty well.

A view of the main floor from the top of the grand staircase. I had to add a pair of towers around my main door to hide the pistons and redstone wiring but I think it should turn out pretty well.

And last but not least, a good chunk of the view from (above) my main deck, with Subi's tower in the river in the background. I am planning on turning that chasm into some kind of great hall but I have a long ways to go still.

I'm still not a huge fan of creative mode, but I'm burnt out of mining the huge amount of resources I need for large projects, especially since I didn't get to finish the last two I was working on. Subi isn't using creative mode, but he keeps asking me for TNT and stuff

As Subi discovered, my manor looks like a cyberman from Doctor Who when viewed from the sever's world map. I guess I know what I will be doing with my roof now
