I observed that aztecs only received a significant cultural bonus when killing barbarians. They earned 3-6 culture for killing opponents.

I still am getting the Hagia Sofia bug which is a game stopper. I played through once with no mods and added a few on at a time. I am still working on it, but has anyone noticed that INFOADDICT stops the rightscreen drop downs? This seems to be the culprit that causes the "Choose Great Person" button to malfunction.

I do not receive and status of relationship summaries when I hover over the AI image in the F4 screen. What could cause this?

Ceremonial Rites works perfectly in different situations. No errors in any game.

I like many new features of the Thal's mod.

Presumably you had the honor opener. Thus, the Aztec trait gave you a small amount of culture for any kill, but for barbarians you ALSO got the honor policy's culture added to the Aztec culture.

Yes, but I still only received 3-6 honor for each AI combatant killed. Not worth playing and a major liability.

I love the new feature where diplomacy shows you how much influence your rival has on that city-state.

I turned off infoaddict and herdsmen and got Hagia Sofia turn 90. I will try again to see what is the source of the bug.

Montezuma receives culture equal to the killed unit's strength. This is the same amount as the Honor policy, but the Aztec version is given to the lowest-culture city for border expansion, and counts units other than barbarians too. The main problem I have with it is Firaxis chose to only use melee unit strength, so it's relatively weak against ranged units, but there's no easy way to change that.

I did 3 more build approaches to hagia sofia as india. In all the three cases, the "Choose Great Person" button lead to another popup window which successfully gave me a great person.

When I do this:

  1. Start a game
  2. Found the capital
  3. Place the Hagia Sophia in the capital using the tuner

I'm able to select a Great Person. Without a way for me to test the problem you're encountering myself, I need more information on the specific circumstances that changed between when it worked, and when it didn't work.

The diplomacy modifiers show alright for me on the top-right diplomacy window:

I started up 6 games, adding 1 mod at a time, and stopped as soon as I saw the right screen drop downs that indicate Hagia Sofia will work.
Believe it or not, the interfering mod is TreeGrowth v.3, not infoaddict.
Do you have any suggestions of why this little mod can black the right screen drop down and popup windows?

I wish the maps had more trees.

Please advise: How do you place hagia sofia in the tuner? I always thought it meant 1.5 hours of boring wonder building on low level games.

Also, I still can't find the diplomacy display screen, but will try again.

TreeGrowth is out of date and is not my work, so I don't know how to make it compatible with the current version of Civ.

To place a building in a selected city, click the building name in the "selected city" tab of the tuner.

To open the diplomacy dropdown, click the diplomacy button at the top-right of the main view.
