Missionary spread causes CTD and Freezes

I consider this problem machine-depend since I haven't seen others posting something related to the freeze. So here's my problem:

My game has been unstable recently. CTDs and Freezes occur more often. Missionary spreading causes CTD, Game freezes randomly with the cursor as a globe spinning. This time, missionary spreading causes texture corruption and hanging, which you cannot issue any actions to cities and units. Also, if you exit the game, it just stuck there.

Hopefully, someone has past experience could help.

I've noticed CTD on missionary spread too over various versions of CBP. It's usually not repeated after a reload.

G replied its a driver problem. I have this problem in some games where I have found my religion and actively spreading it.

I've had this issue before as well. I always assumed it was related to RtP rather than CBP
