Mod - change the typeface (font) - Fira or Roboto

I don't know what the hell was going through Firaxis' UX designers mind on using Myriad Pro for the UI - it's barely readable when displayed in small sizes.

I changed it to Fira (most commonly known as the font used in Firefox) - it's designed by Erik Spikermann and works great in displays.

It's free distribution, downloaded from here: https://github.com/mozilla/Fira

I've attached a zipped file with the modified XML file if you want to check it our for yourself.

Unzip it to \steamapps\common\Sid Meier's Civilization VI\Base\Assets\UI\Fonts

Is there a direct way to edit those fonts in said directory? I would like to do that, don't like the size currently (doesn't fit on one screen and notifications interfere a lot with gameplay)

Yeah you can edit the XML file there. I don't know if the UI will take it, though - as in, if things will fit inside the bounding boxes. I haven't tried that myself.
