I have been unable to determine when and how to obtain the divine promotion. ???
 
I've been playing a game with the Lurchip. Really enjoying it. I like the new flavor units. Very nice. I've never played them before, and I like the mud golem. I thought at first, not gonna work, but the trade off is a good one. Two or three can change an empire, and improve new cities/conquests very quickly. You really have to rush that first mud golem though. I normally let the ai handle city management, but I found myself tweaking for food to get to three pop, then production to get the golem, then back to growth with a couple of warriors, and then to settler/warrior, settler/warrior, and on. I enjoyed the challenge of getting them up and going on par with the other civs, and it is doable.

It's NOW very fun to play Kuriotates. Dragons are .... i let you choose the best superlative.:goodjob:

Just a question: Your 3 dragons are heroes ( we find them as Hero in the Civilopedia) without Hero promo, like Baron X (don't remember his name :blush: ). Is it logical ? Is it really what you want or a forgiving ? If not a forgiving, why are they not true Hero (at least Baron X) ?

You are correct, it will be fixed in the next version.

It is given automatically to priests. It can't be learned.

If you study her unit button you will see that it is Losha Valas, vampire hero of the Calabim. That may be enough to make a man reconsider approching her, but probably not.

The Hero promotion is only one way we designate heroes. It should probably be renamed to something else. Duin, Typhiod Mary, the Trojan Horse, the Dragons and a few others are heroes without the promotion.

the mod looks good, i had a wish the barbs are more active/stronger after turn 200 ( I play version 2 011)

FfH1 is fully finished product. More stable, everything works and is documented. FfH2 is in beta right now, it has bugs and is going through a lot of changes as we add and modify things. FfH1 is very similiar to FfH2 but without all of the different civilizations (there are different civilizations but they all play the same) and without the spell system (there are only a few spells in FfH1).

Question? Are you even considering a completely magical unit, no fighters at all just magic (complete with their own tech tech etc)? Or just god units, like Thor, Neptune, Venus etc?? maybe in FfH3? LOL
 
Hi,
when casting spells which effect large area (like ring of fire) you might hurt a friend also, is there an option to get a warning when something like this happens? Like when entering to an cultural area without passage agreement.
I ask that because there are time too many units are in a small area & it's pretty difficult to see the many CIVs units.

Fireball : Seems to me they are weak, although they do collateral damage I seems they barley touch units with 5 strength. At least give fireball should lower city defences more then 1%.

Priests: The spell that should increase the influence around city tiles doesn't seems to have that effect.


Heroes: Again, I have to say Heroes die to easily, there should be a way to avoid thier early demise.

Attached is a save game that stuck couple of turns after loading it, I hear a loud voice & then nothing happens, I let the game work it self for 30min then existed & loaded it up & waited 45min again, in the same place something is wrong
 
Maybe you could remove extra line break on civ info where you show unique units. Now you can't see everyone.

you are making a really great work, FfH is a tremendous game !

i would like to know if there is any particular bug reporting procedure? or a particular forum in which we may discuss of gameplay innovations?

if no here are a point i could notice playing 2012b :

when constructing altar of luoonotar, i get the blessing promotion while creating units in another town.

Else for the gameplay of elves, couldn't forest be considered as roads concerning cities connections and ressources sharing ?

Yeah we want warning popups but they are low on the priority list.

I am playing lots of fireball tossers lately to try to gauge their power. Im not sure if im ready to change them yet.

Yeah the culture effects (incluyding consecrate) are all under review and need to be redone.

This hasnt been my experience, does anyone else think heroes are to fragile? Which heroes are you talking about Mamimo?

This is a 0.11 save. We fixed a lot of CTD's in 0.12.

Thats intended, although I didnt update the text to note that. I will have it changed in the new version.

We talked about that and decided against it. It would take quite a bit of work to do (as always most of which would be getting the ai to understand it) and in the end we decided that it wasn't worth it.

I'll check it out, we definitly need to do something about getting all of the UU's to display correctly.
