[MOD] Fall from Heaven II

I have thought a few times about going back and giving it a cosmetic facelift. Not making any functional changes but switching to some of the improved units and such that we have since created in FfH2. Maybe when I get some free time.

I second the motion. FfH1 is alot of fun in it's own right.

Diving in here with my first post. Just wanted to say that I enjoyed FFH1 loads and going to try FFH2. Question though, is this for Warlords or do I still run it through the basis Civ4. Thanks. Sorry if there is a really obvious answer to this and I`ve missed it.

FfH2 is a vanilla Civ4 mod just like FfH1 (you don't need Warlords to play it).

Hi all.
I'm here just to say thank you to Kael.
FfH2 is one of the best games (because i think "mod" is not the right way to call it ) i've ever seen on my PC; i just can't wait for 0.16 !!

Keep up the good job :goodjob:

Is this going to be the fire release? If so any chance of a few hints at what is going to be in it with a definiative list?

Cheers,
Rachel

Only if you're a templar.

This game need a improved AI system, I hardly even gotten declared war against me at all in any civilization, even when my aggressive AI is turned on, they still don't even freakin declared war against me. Can you increase the AI's attitude to declare war against other people more often so that we have some real conquest going on?

He said that he turned the AI on "aggressive", so there's obviously something not working as intended in vanilla Civ. If Kael didn't intend this indeed rather peacefull AI it's right now also not working as intended in FFH2, in my opinion, even in regular/non-aggressive AI mode.

A little more war declaration would be good - but not too much! ;)

I've noticed two things in my recent game. I'm not sure if they are intended parts of the game or bugs, so I thought I'd bring them up:

1. For some reason, my Gilden Silveric hero can't get the blitz promotion. I just researched Celerity (for that reason mainly), he definitely has Combat 5, but the blitz promotion isn't showing up. Is it possible that it won't show up when he is attached to a Great Commander?

2. I don't know if this is intended or not (and it may be fixed in .16), but when I finished the Nature's Revolt ritual (merely hoping for my tigers to get a boost), I was pleasantly surprised to find out that my Larry, Moe and Curly (Hill Giants from Pact of Nilhorn) also got an addition to their strength. Is this intended?

If you are playing on such a low level of difficulty that your score is more than double that of every other civ in the game a mere 50 turns or so into the game, then there is no way any civ is going to declare war on you even with agressive AI turned on unless you leave your border cities completely undefended. In fact, start your game over on a higher difficulty, cause you've already won.

I'm playing a Monarch game where my score was hanging in there with the top 3. War has been declared many times (once because I was stupid enough to leave a border town lightly defended... thought they liked me enough that I could. wrong.).

Re: DIVINE promotion.

For the life of me, I have not been able to figure out how a unit gets this promotion. Is there a tech that allows it to be given? Do you need a certain religion or allignment? Is it just automatic with certain units only?

Automatic for certain units (priests, high priests, some heroes). If a unit doesn't start with it they will never have it.
