2. Because if it could be cast on any unit there wouldn't be any reason for naval units anymore. You would just get one caster that could cast water walking and water walking your entire army.

Oh! I missed that ww effect is constant. Never really used it. :blush: In any case it is nice to have in future some ww items-artifacts.

Tons of stuff is the main reason why i love FFH-II. Even if sometimes it harms balance and AI is unable to use it. Looking for exploits is very interesting task.;)

5)Let the Spirit guide transfer not only half of the exp but even the spell effect. I believe it make the spell much more interesting.
 
You've just articulated why I love this mod.

FfH will never be "lean and mean". Our target
demographic are players that love Civ4, so we expect a higher level of commitment and feature understanding than in a normal game. We also design based on replayability rather than accessibility which is non-traditional in the gaming world. But understanding that we still need to keep feature creep under control, there is a balnce between those 2 extremes.

On the water walking idea how about an air spell called summon cloud that creates a purty magical cloud for your berserker to ride for one turn (or make it aair and water!!) then you can do minor ww type stuff for one turn, but if u get caught over sea, you drown, it would open up a whole new area of troop mobility and tactics (in addition to amphib, u get paratroops, golems are too heavy with out "light" promotion...

Sounds fun to me

I guess I'm +7/8 hours from Eastern US time so luckyly I just got off work so I won't have to wait that long for the update... but since my mates cancelled on the movie that we were going to tonight... I really hope the 0.22 release is soon. But hey, nothing to do but wait... I'm sure its worth the wait just like all the other patches have been.
 
Sorry, yesterday ended up being a lot busier than I thought with a few deadlines hitting at once. But everything is progressing well now and it looks like 0.22 will be up and available in about 30 minutes.

No sweat Kael... you do have a life outside of FFH2 (unlike some of us I think at times), you just do your thing and work that modding magic when you have the time. This will give me time to restock on cola for a whole night of FFH2 adventure.

Sounds like the advent of some higher ...thing... - for me it starts in about 5min and hopefully will enlighten me this tonight. :D

Reading the patch notes (for like the 100th time) is a blast for itself. But what civ should I play?? :P
