Downloading at 27.3k. Absolutely ridiculous. Gameflood is crap - get a real host.
Spamming the board with an insult as first post. Absolutely ridiculous. You are a troll - get some politeness.

I just spent 4.5 hours (well, 6.5 if you count a really badly timed crash) downloading a file that is under 500 megs. This isn't 1995 and I shouldn't be downloading at 20k.
Maybe be less snarky and internet tough and consider I might be giving the mod creators some feedback on the limited download options they're giving me.
これダウンロードさせてください!!
Please please please help!!
I've downloaded FfH2.23b from GameFlood using the download manager and into Mods in Civ4 (as usual). When I try to run it, it tells me it's a file not an application. Have I done something wrong? I've tried everything I can think of but I'm not super computer literate, any ideas?
It took me the whole night to download (more than seven hours) the main file and more for the media pack
I got the THING and consider it was worth the patience
as long as i know that I can stop without losing what has been downloading already, i am happy with the host
combat seems to be tougher; and animals have nearly completely desappeared (apart from teh very early start ...)
thanks to the modding team
Gamesflood with their downloadmanager gives you better speed and a resumeable download (otherwise it would have been impossible with my fragile net connection).
Combat is a bit more interesting now![]()
Kuriotate cities can work extra tiles, and so grow larger and more productive. The trade off is that they are limited in the number of these cities that they can build, and all the rest after that point are settlements that don't do much beyond providing culture and a base for your troops (no maintenance there, though.)Thanks Melian, wiki was quite good Could someone explain the city hub/settlement feature? How come sometimes i get asked which one i want to make & other times it just makes a settlement?

It is 3 super-cities on standard size maps, more on larger maps, less on smaller maps.
