[MOD] Fall from Heaven II

When playing with the Octopus Overlord religion, how do you get to summon krakens? There is no listed requirement in the civilopedia.

oh yes the infernal civ can build farms only if the city is near a water source such as a river I have built a farm as Hyborem and the infernals.

brb

You sure u didn't build it with a captured worker... infernal workers can't build farms... captured workers can, that is true yes...

@Tiggrr
You need a tier 3 caster such as the druid or summoner, there are also hero casters that can gain the ability. But dont forget you need water mana or you will never see the option

Ok i was under the impression that the kraken was for octupus what the Treants are for Fellowship of the leaves religion.

you need to have a OO high preist of inquisitor with water III to cast it while on water/ in a city

treents are for any summoner with nature III but can appear in aincent forests of fellowship of leaves civs

yes i know this is from many pages back but it never got answered

Around end game, when my heroes get really strong, I have a problem viewing their moves points, because promotions+magic promotions hide it

Can you tell me if it is a way to hide those promotions or resize it please?

how did donal lugh get poisoned blade navigation 2 drill 4 bucanner crew expanded cargo casted gurrella 2 wodsman 2 homeland mobility 2 and sentry 2?

personally ive never had the huge numbers of promotions cover up anymore than the units image

Its pretty clear that he cheated, perhaps just to get an example picture to post. He may have been annoyed at this in a game where he wasn't cheating, but forgot to take a screenshot then, and so cheated just for a demonstration. I have often had this problem. Of course, I often cheat, but I have had the problem without cheating before (usually with the Calabim or when I have changed the global defines to allow more free xp). I've even had units with enough promotions to completely cover even their names. A way to hide promotions would be nice. Also, a way to hide he bonuses these promotions give from the unit overview could sometimes be useful, as I often can't see the stats on the other units on the tile or sometimes even see how much movement a unit has left because it runs off the screen.

I build the farm with worker that spawned with Hyborem. I know he was demonic as he had no problems entering burning sands on falmes.

But AI problem is that once it captures workers that by your recon can build farms... hell turn his Hell into happy-flood-harvest-rain-forest.

If Rivers woyld be changed to lava, and lava or blood river that will not be a source of fresh water, that HYbi wil build normal things.

I finished games as Hyborem, but only on Monarch. Never did it on Diety, and i dont like easier difficulaties with bad Civ4 AI.

What does Eyes and Ears do? I can't find it in wonders or buildings. Same thing for Pact of the Nelphon(SP?). I read what it does on the forums luckily, but could not find where its described in the Encylopedia. There's others too. Help?

What does Eyes and Ears do?
Grants you every tech 3civs have researched and you have open borders with.

In FfH Age of Ice, lakes are not a source of fresh water. Think it can be done to rivers.
Rivers are not a terrain tile, is it isn't analagous. Besides, though, in AoI the lakes do not change whether or not they are fresh water; in fact, I think the tile in question isn't even considered water.
Kael has said before he'd like to have oceans or lakes show hell effects, but doesn't want blue rivers feeding into them.

I think for this case, changing the AI will be easier than the terrain.

Is this for Warlords?

Another question. I started the game as the sea faring civilzation. In the begining my research times didn't decrease regardless of adjusting which tiles i used(ie gold producing tiles). Is this typical for them or in general? I didn't notice it with other civilzations. I think?

Thanks, Broken Hawk.

While Kael's been very good about listing the composers behind the tracks used, I don't think anyone's compiled a full list of the musical pieces from the mod. Here're the ones I've recognised on hearing them in the mod (or remember from random postings).

Thank you so much for answering my question, Geejo. I appreciate it. If anyone else knows the songs that Geejo did not know, I would love to know them. I'm curious about all the musical tracks used for FfH2 and who wrote them. There is just too much good music in this mod! Thanks so much!:king:
