Mod Incompatibility?

Very quick question. I'm wondering if, post GaK, all mods will have to be updated to work again. Or will mods that add new civs and the like just be screwed up? Or units? Or just all of em? Or has Firaxis been super secret about it and not said anything xD
 
Firaxis hasn't been super secretive about it. They updated the mod tools, provided a beta patch and early access to the Steam Workshop for modders.

So if it's still broken by next week, it's the modders fault for not updating the mod ;)

That will be mod dependent : some will works, some won't, the factor being what parts of the game the mod is changing, and if that parts have also been changed in G&K.

Difficult to say before the game itself is released.

So if it's still broken by next week, it's the modders fault for not updating the mod ;)
That's right for Civ5 vanilla pach, but Civ5 beta patch doesn't contain the change for G&K.
