Who thinks that the modern leaderheads look too... weird. Also tell me how they can be improved. ( I really think they do. I mean look at them, they would make up the ugly family. ( Some of them. ) )

Come on... you can't tell me Joan of Arc doesn't look hot with a shaved head and army t-shirt

Also: my vote for "aged the worst through time" goes to Mao.

Well, if you think about it guys, how *did* Ceaser look in modern days?? Anything they could have come up with would have looked at least a little screwy. I thought Joan was very creative :goodjob:. If anything's not to your taste Civman33 there are many, many LHs (leader heads) in the "Completed Graphics" forum or the downloads database, if you wish to make your own LHs there will no doubt be tutorials in the Tutorials forum.

Bismarck looked smart.

They look perfectly fine. If you dislike them that much, why don't you try portraying Alexander the Great in 2008?

Two things...

1) Why isn't Germanys leader Hitler? I know its not very Politically correct and i don't want to start an arguement, but he was a great leader! And Germany had never been stronger than the 1930's.

2) Is there any way I can dress up in 4 eras of clothing, take photos of myself in different poses & expresions and replace the leaderheads with my face? Because that would be awesome. And yes, I AM that vain.

well.... aside from not being politically correct, Hitler, a great speaker and cunning strategist, wasn't necessarily that great of a leader. He used and lied to the people, pretty much slapped and spat in the face of virtually ever other national leader, AND scapegoated a specific group of people for all their problems... not to mention his "Empire" didn't last that long, but that is just a side note

Bismarck on the other hand can be credited for actually unifying the German states... although he wasn't technically the leader, he pretty much strengthened Germany to the point where such an upset in the balance of power at the time eventually led to a world war. You could say that without Bismarck, there wouldn't BE a "Germany"

1. I debated that same thing for a long time, honestly, while i DO NOT support the pain and suffering he caused, and while it's true he lied and used people as Taras said, you must admit, the man was an absoulte genuis in the way he brought an entire country under his bidding and forced two of the world's superpowers: England, and France to subcom to his will with appeastment. Also, one must nod their head at the miltary advancements made under his rule. Tanks, airplanes, and even a navy (which especially intresting considering Germany's tiny coastline) made Germany a formidable force. Also, Hitler brought other countires under his complete control (if only for a tiny bit) with tatics of a charasmatic genius. So the only reason I can think of that he hasn't been made a leader, is that Sid wants to avoid a boycott of the Civ series and a media onslaught.

2. ..........do you have one of those things called a life?

P.S wow, i wrote alot for only my second post lol
