Yes, those are coded as python scripts.
I tried once with RoM_Medium_and_Small and once with Chronicles_SmartMap_106_mst, both with the same results. Giant map size.
Those shouldn't take too long. Alhough I'm not sure about Giant, those two don't simulate tectonics, so should take reasonable time.
 
Just a note:
Your addon is bugged with CoM1.3 (errors on start, broken pedia, etc.)
Did you edit XML tags and which?
Anyway, I don't plan on any further development here, unless Firpo fixes multiplayer.

Oh, there are a lot of changes. You can see all of them on the change log.
Unfortunately I don't remember what the error messages were.

Sure, it probably doesn't require much effort. I just don't see much value in CoM as a singleplayer mod, so I'll only make it compatible, not fully adapted to latest changes.
 
There. It still got vicinity crutches for Storehouse (or whatever Grange was called) and others, so if you really want them update them yourself.
This version should still be nice for design reference, but I mostly focus on History Rewritten's now, since multiplayer is stable there.

Great, thanks, I will check it out, I tried to merge it from 1.2.6 to 1.3.1 but still some thing were not working, so I bet that's the better way :)

Basic terrain should've still worked, features wouldn't, because Nexus replaced old storm with 2 new storms. Specialists heavily rely on civics and buildings, so would need those too.

All or most what I wanted is working properly.
I still don't know how to build fishing community, forts on water etc. maybe I still din't found what's needed to do that, we will see. <edit> Ok, I think I found it in xml, it needs water features.
Both of mods are great guys,
