Hi,

as in CIV V it's not possible I guess...

Had anyone thought about making a MOD (or clustering a group of MOD's) as a DLC?

regards

Yes, although not in Civ 5, the Enhanced User INterface is a mod that uses the DLC trick to work.

But I think that a cluster of MODs would be slightly more complicated as you'd have a lot less freedom in what you have and what you don't have.

For Civ5, both MPMPM (not user friendly, but works with a lot of mods) and JdH's CiV MP Mod Manager (user friendly, but only works with a limited set of mods) use that technique (generating a fake DLC) to allow you to run existing mods. Both could be carried across to BE.

I would give at least ten quid to someone who made mods MP-capable with the fake-DLC method.
