Mods for Mac (Civ Complete)

They all can work (well the ones with .biq files do and many .bix files as well, stick with the .biq files first maybe...). There is a separate link on troubleshooting and sometimes making the ModPacks and Senarios work on a Mac - but I've had 20-30 running without a hitch...

Try these for starters (a) really brilliant (b) the way Civ 3 should be
...a) Age of Imperialism 1895-1924 (the effort and total fun of this is awesome),
...b) Worldwide 1

lots and lots to choose from, like Warhammer 2.5 - seriuosly you have gotta grab this one as well...

Some LoTR as well.. too much, only so many hours I can stay awake to play....

After the total disappointment of Civ5, i'm really enjoying all Civ3 has to offer...

I could be here all day...

But where do I find the actual Mods? I keep looking and not always finding!

I was referring to the ones first mentioned as the absolute must tries; I did have a look at the ones with the links posted but I prefer Ancients if I can get them. Not that I want to be p[icky - much!

At the top of the forum page there is a Google custom search box. Copy and paste the mod name into that and click the green arrow to get a list of possible locations.

Thank Alan, I'll give it a try.

Using all the suggestions in the pages I have successfully downloaded, installed and got RFRE working correctly - a very happy man here.

One question - why do we treat volcanos so badly. Yes, they may explode and send lava out covering everything, yet people have been living on their slopes for millenium. There must be a reason and hence, in the game, a benefit for founding a city beside one.

Thanks - Pablo the Scot

Yes, there ought to be a food and/or wealth bonus for having one in your city perimeter, just as there is a benefit for flood plains to offset the disease risk.
