Mods not openening

Last night I was playing RFC in BTS all fine, but had to close for a short period of time.

Now i MAY have accidentally cut my BTS's civIV.ini when i meant to Copy, but i control Z'd and it went back. Only now whenever i got to load my RFC game the game goes like it would to load any other mod, but instead it doesn't, it just closes down.

Any suggestions?

EDIT: Its not only RFC, its seems like its all scenarios...I just tried Road to war and it didn't do anything then all of a sudden 2 minutes later as Im writing this, Road to War (aka Europe 1936) just opened! But RFC still won't open, and last night it took mere seconds for it to open (approximately 5 seconds if we wanna be truthful)

Make a shortcut so you load the mod directly.

1)Copy your shortcut to Beyond the Sword, right click on the copy and select properties
2)In the target add mod="ModName" to the end (as an example for RevolutionDCM it's shortcut target on my computer is this: "C:\Program Files\Firaxis Games\Sid Meier's Civilization 4\Beyond the Sword\Civ4BeyondSword.exe" mod="RevolutionDCM")

If you did it right the shortcut will then launch the mod, instead of needing to go into BtS and manually loading it. If you are using Windows Vista or 7 you may need to also launch as an administrator.

URGH.

I set the mod as 'RFC' (thats what my mod folder is named) and when i ran it, the game didn't even open, nothing happened

I should add.

I am using Windows XP SP3

I have the newest version of BTS (319) and the newest version of RFC.
I have a Quad Core, with 4ghz (well...2.5ghz each) and I have an NvIDIA 9800 GT at either 512mb or more, i dont remember. I have 4gb's of RAM and a 500gb hard drive (though it is slowly slowly shrinking :mhh: hope this helps a bit.

To elaborate my problem;

RFC is located; C:\Program Files\Firaxis Games\Sid Meier's Civilization 4\Beyond the Sword\Mods\Rhye's and Fall of Civilization

And when I click 'Load mod' or 'BTS extra content' or 'load game' to load my game, the game closes like it would for any other mod to load the mod. However, after it does that, ABSOLUTELY nothing happens. It just closes! No error message or anything!

I made a shortcut and put this in it;

"C:\Program Files\Firaxis Games\Sid Meier's Civilization 4\Beyond the Sword\Civ4BeyondSword.exe" mod="Rhye's and Fall of Civilization"

and same thing, i click it, and the little hourglass appears beside the mouse for half a second, then nothing.

This is pissing me off, i liked RFC. I was playing it last night a bit, then wanted to see the world map, etc. So i thought the easiest way would be to go into Debug mode or something.

So to activate Debug i had to go get my civIV.ini and add an extra line to it, and just to be careful i meant to copy and paste the original to a new folder, only i accidentally said cut. I pasted it, then realized what i did and ctrl-z'd, and everything seems fine.

So i added the cheat code 'chipotle' (or atleast i assume thats the cheat code, as it is for vanilla Civ4) to the Cheatcodes = 0 thing, only replaced 0, and tried to play again, and this is when it wouldn't load anymore :\
