Mohawk Support?

Epic Games will not give actual support.
The Mohawk website does not have a link for support.
I am getting the following error on launch:

Failed to initialize graphics.
Make sure you have DirectX 11 installed, have up to date drivers for your graphics card and have not disabled 3D acceleration in display settings.
InitializeEngineGraphics failed​

I am running Win7, have a NVIDIA GTX 1050 with the newest driver available, have DX11, 3D is turned on. DxDiag does not find any issues.
Moreover, I have run Old World plenty, it's just been several months since last I tried. My system has not changed at all in the meantime.
Has there been a patch in the past few months which broke/altered 3D graphics?

Apparently there is a conflict between Old World and the Epic overlay.
Holding <shift> while launching the game disables the overlay and allows the game to launch.

We have disabled the Epic overlay to eliminate this issue until Epic publishes a fix for the overlay. Once there is a fix from Epic we will re-enable the overlay in the game.
