How about a few horses in a paddock and the King's yurt (ger) on a carriage for the metropolis?

if this is Medieval it then there are some larger scale permanent structures, if it is ancient I would say focus more on the nomadic yurts.
Ancient era
Ancient Stone statues found across Central Asia
Stone tombs, or temples
16-18th centuries
Stupas
Monasteries
Erdene Zuu Monastery, probably not a good example of Mongolian walls, since there are stupas on it, it is meant for religious symbolism not for military or protective purposes.
Depending on the time period the walls should either be palisades or more of a Chinese/East Asian style.

This is a 19th century example, the Winter Palace of the Bogd Khan, maybe for Industrial era?
And this is techniqually Modern, its the Genghis Khan Mausoleum
But I hope you are making an ancient era, because I plan to use the Tibetian set for medieval
