It's great! varwnos will have some serious competition this month too! I like both aaglo's and varwnos' file so much that I can't decide... I might not vote next month!

Wow, these are wonderful also!
Since there are some city sets being made (this month there have been three new sets, only counting one by me) i think that- provided that Flamand agrees to leave city sets out of his comp- i could keep a city competition, from October (so that hopefully i will be able to win in this aeon!)

I think it is a good idea to split the PCX competition into three parts:
* Image competition: tech icons, splashscreen, etc...
* Terrain graphics: terrain, cities, terrain buildings, etc...
* Interface graphics: buttons, backgrounds, etc...
The first one exist already and should perhaps be expanded a bit. The second one can be yours, Varwnos, and the thrid one I'll keep myself.

But how many buttons, backgrounds, and interfaces do you get each month?
Hm, the terrain gfx idea is nice
I guess it could include:
-cities
-resources
-plague-volcano eruption-disorder flc
-terrain modpack
anything that is visible on the terrain, apart from units. Although the flcs perhaps should be part of the unit competition? My line of thought with this is the possible use of them in city making as well

if you wish to divide the pcx competitions, I'd suggest sort of dividence suggested by warvnos:
- terrain pcx's (terrain, goodyhuts, cities, resources, victorypoints, mines, irrigation, road... all non-animated terrain features)
-game pcx's (buildings, wonders, interfaces, civilopedia-stuff in general).

I also think varwnos'/aaglo's division would be a bit better than the original idea by Flamand, because it would create 2 balanced sections IMHO.
