LMR: That was exactly what I meant to do.... Submit it in Smoking mirror's name, so that he gets all the credit for it...

And it looks like my Archadean Air dreadnought doesn't have a chance in hell of winning now... Plot entered a unit. ;)

I'm in a good mood today... SM is in... ;) as is the old timer...

Thanks, Flamand..... When Smoking mirror dropped off the map, Civ III lost a really gifted unit and LH maker, so I'm definitely rooting for him. :)

And I think I'm going to have to take back what I said about LAST month's unit competition being as wierd as it possibly could get... Somehow this month's lineup is even more bizarre..... And I'm sure that there will be other entries before the week is out, too.

My submission: (from the Fallout mod)

Empire of the Circuit - Network Backbone:

EOTC_Backbone.zip

I hereby declare that this file is my own work and that the original artists (if any) have consented in its submission according to the rules of this competition.

[*]Converted files and cut 'n paste files are also allowed, but this should be stated.

This is a c&p image but not a conversion (except for the background, the image is a collage of small sections partially painted over and blended).

Some drama masks for use as popheads for the .pcx compo.

Tragedy, Comedy, Satyr and, er, well, something else that's actually based on the Phantom of the Opera mask. :mischief: Note that the Green shows up as civcolour.

The file is the standard popheads file with the four new heads inserted in place of the entertainers. Obviously, the entry is only the four heads above, not the rest of the file.

I hereby declare that this file is my own work and that the original artists (if any) have consented in its submission according to the rules of this competition.

The vague shapes were c&p but just about every pixel has then been redrawn. Still, it has to go down as a c&p entry.

Only two hours to spare (by British time). ;)

All March competitions are closed and the April ones have started.

The new themed competition theme is "Science Fiction", to be interpreted as broadly as possible... ;)

Exactemundo... ;)

I think I'll make a "Spaceballs City" wonder graphic just for that occasion.

Prepare for Ludicrous Speed! :D

In that case, a project that has been on the back burner for quite some time will now be moved to the front burner....

You know what they say about early birds... ;)

No problem, the first pic seemed to have had a palette problem...

Cool, they've got monster worms on your planet? :D
