Should I use this deazth anim?

It shows how the tail rotor is blown apart, then an emergency landing. Not sure if I shouldn´t take a more "conventional" approach (explosion)....

no, conventional is boring, that's why they called it conventional. Be creative in everything you do, add variety.

do that tail rotor crash and then have it hit the ground at an angle and have the main rotor whack into the ground flying apart and then "boom!" have the copter explode! But just having it blow up in the air is boring, especially after you show us this.

You might want to make a Jerry Bruckheimer unit and the "Mass media butchering" attack along side the Blackhawk..

Good question. At the moment I have lots of other stuff to do, finishing the naval Flanker, and the black UH60. No deadline for a Phantom now....

Nah....how far is the betatest of your mod? If you need those other icons soon, please say so - then I can make them (as always, in "packs" of 3-5)

With Cossacks and American Conquest, I'm "stuck" to the first eras for the units, but I can also add the icons for the following era at the same time.
I don't really need them, is just that, as the old Chinese saying says "The more job is done, the less job is left to be done".

I changed my plans a bit. Although I wrote in another thread I have no concrete plans for updates of my other jets, I will at least release updates of the F14, 16 and 18 soon.

I´ll post previews later. Maybe I include an own F15 as bonus to complete the fleet

Preview for the updates. They will have realistic shadows, accurate payloads, and much better death anims (since those for the previous versions were simply edited jetfighter death anims)
