More Civilisations

One problem though - Steam download doesn't work for me and CFC download link doesn't work for me :D

Absolutely incredible civs guys, great work all round. just played a quick Chola game against the others to have a look. The art as always is seriously top notch. Those Thalai-Thirvai are pretty awesome! Loving naval invasions with them by the side of frigates :)

Small issue, when playing in strategic view the Thalai-Thirvai icon does not show, just a blank circle in Chola colours (I have a screenshot saved if needed, but do not know how to upload). In no way did this affect my game, just thought you would like to know.

And when Gurra09's Punjab is complete there will be a full representation of the India subcontinent.

Maratha are my personal favourites. I have even come up with strategy :).
®Settle City with Growth Potential (2 Wheat/Fishes [5-6 Food tile]); add Granary/Water Mill/Hospital/Aqueduct = Army of Salvation <from 1 to 3 Citizens should born fast enough>

The Cannon with early Catapult XP farming should have also the time of glory.

Anyway, is AI Maratha using UA or shall I force them?

Lets talk India.

UA: Mother Ganges - Unhappiness from number of Citizens halved. Cities adjacent to rivers receive +5% growth for every religion present in the city
Delhi
UU: Gurkha, replaces Great War infantry. Stronger, slightly more expensive. Receives a bonus when fighting outside of friendly territory
UB: Mandir, replaces Temple. +1 Faith for every 2 Citizens in the city

Gandhi seems to like the changes he got. In fact I think that he has a new play style with them.

He now gets less unhappiness per city, and grows faster on rivers. He has a new UU that looks really strong and a neat UB to give him extra faith

here is the thing. The old India was good at going tall, but this new kit seems to encourage going wide. If i'm not going to have an as bad penalty for founding a new city why should I want to go tall? The extra growth helps him too, since he can expand and found cites along rivers. Also his UA discourages founding his own religion since he would want his empire to have many religions in it as opposed to just him own.

His UU looks really strong. Civs with a late game UU are a pain in the butt, and the Gurkha would make Gandhi better defending himself or in other cases conquering away a rival in late game.

This is a whole new Gandhi, so I think his leader flavors should change to suit his new kit.

-He should favor warmongering more often
-He should expand a little bit more
-He should care much less about religion (since he benefits from not getting one)

What is your opinion.

India has always supported going both wide and tall. It's just the wide part is crippled early game with vanilla India's UA

I think I like Chola's music the best. I can't wait to hear what epic music you've chosen for Tibet and Kilwa (the two I'm subscribed to that don't have music yet), all though my favorite is Tuscany because of how EPIC it sounds. One thing I'm wondering though is why they all use the Middle East art style? I mean I can understand for the Mughals and to some extent Maratha but not Chola and Maurya.

A suggestion for you:

Macedonia

Leader: Alexander

UA: Hellenism - -4 :c5unhappy: for conquered cities, +1 :c5happy: for all cities, +2 :c5culture: per city.

UU1: Phalangitai - Replaces Axeman, 8 :c5strength:, 2 :c5moves:.

UU2: Companion Cavalry - Replaces Horsemen, bonus remain the same.

To replace the Companions for the Greeks:

UB: Odeon - Replaces Amphitheater, +4 :c5culture:, -2 :c5unhappy:, +2 :c5greatperson: generation (Great Artist), +1 Great Work of Art slot.
